"Guests will be provided accommodation and may begin arriving on the 6th and 7th of August, with celebrations peaking on the 8th of August and formally concluding on the 9th. Security provided includes Imperial Police Corps and Imperial Gendarmerie personnel inside and outside the nearby airport and its vicinity, and personnel of the Imperial Army and of the Landwehr for the palace itself as well as other buildings of importance.

"Only notable news for today, Your Imperial Tiburan Majesty, is the latest snub from the Wiesers to the north." Giuseppe Emmanuel, the Imperial Tiburan Chancellor, grumbled as he tossed an embroidered invitation to the table, with the air of someone dropping a disgusting object.

Reaching forward to retrieve the object, Francesco VII, Holy Tiburan Emperor, opened the invitation and scanned the list of invitees, noting especially the presence of the Sarmatian Ceasar and the Marshall of the Zivs. "Hm, the list has increased in number of invitees. The Emperor must be getting friendlier with older age."

Briefly sputtering in indignation, the Chancellor protested, "But do you not see, Your Imperial Tiburan Majesty?! At the bottom, the Personae non grata!"

Pausing to look at the bottom of the invitation, a dark smile reached Francesco's lips. "Heh. He is getting friendlier. Gave us our own section on the invitation list instead of just ignoring us as usual. It'll save us possible embarrassment if we show up not realizing we're Personae non grata." Through Giuseppe's renewed indignation, Francesco frowned and muttered, "Still quite senile though. Got the name of our nation wrong again."

"Your Imperial Tiburan Majesty, while your composure is admirable, I cannot understand how this can be blown off so easily!"

"Should I take it, Chancellor, that we should have been invited?"

"Of course not! We would never have gone even if we were-"

"Then little has changed except, like I said, the Wieser Emperor has decided to be polite and notice our existence. That, I think, is a small step up from the usual attitude towards us." Sighing as Giuseppe grumbled some vile curses, he continued, "Do not fret yourself Chancellor, I shall craft the official response myself. You may start a war, the way you are now. Go take a rest for the day, your interns need more work anyway."

First and foremost, I would like to wish the Wieser Emperor a happy 100th birthday, and must marvel at his inability to pass away. I can only hope I have half the same fortitude as he when I reach old age. I must also thank the Wieser Emperor for his recognition of our existence, and for prematurely clearing up any possible embarrassments had we been left off the list as usual. I see, though, I need to remind him once more that the proper title of our nation is the Holy Tiburan Empire. I shall be polite, however, as it is his 100th birthday. He may address us as the Holy Tiburan Empire of Oltremare if he insists.

Once again, may I wish the Wieser Emperor a happy birthday and a delightful party.

I must regret, however, that due to urgent matters of state and the great amount of work that all monarchs (as you well know) must confront in humble service to their people I will be unable to partake in the festivities marking the one hundredth year of your birth.
