The New Republic has emerged

The Free Boluxia Movement has taken control of the Government Press Building in Fort Alexei, and we are using this as a method to contact other nations. Despite the fact that we were more free under the current administration, the Socialists still committed many atrocities. They moved thousands of disabled citizens out of Saint Vincent and moved them to countryside towns, and then they would move healthier citizens into the city to make it appear better. Small business owners were persecuted into poverty by extreme taxation and laws. We are asking for help from any other freedom loving country to help us defeat the weakened Socialist regime in Northern Boluxia before they get the chance to prepare to strike us down.

Munitions running low, Foreign Invasion requested by Central Council

Boluxian Central Command is requesting Foreign intervention in the Boluxian Civil War in the hopes that the Socialist North will succeed against the Republican South. The military has advised the Head Council they will run out of Munitions soon if Foreign armies do not invade the South. Meanwhile Southern Armies are also requesting foreign intervention to defeat the north.

Sinese Workers Flood into the South

In a surprising turn of events, multiple Sinese immigrants have moved to South Boluxia, showing hope for a future in the economy of Boluxia despite the extreme instability in the country. As well as immigrants, banks in Sri Rama and other countries are investing in the country in hopes that the civil war will succeed for the FRB.

Due to the political crisis in Cortona, we cannot pledge our support openly, however I do wish to see the Federal Republic of Boluxia continue its existence. We will give the FRB a loan of C$16 Billion. Please note that this is a loan, something we expect to be paid back with interest.

In terms of military intervention, initially, should hostilities erupt, Cortona will begin to deliver weapons to the FRB. If the hostilities continue, we will send some troops to the FRB. If there is foreign intervention, we will openly defend the FRB and look for a peaceful solution, if one cannot be made, we'll look into other options.

If the FRB accepts this proposal, the money will be wired immediately.

Federal Republic releases their edited constitution, asks other nations to choose

Top Political leaders of the Federal Republic of Boluxia have created a revised version of the Boluxian constitution including new points not covered by the previous constitution, and they are asking other nations to choose which country is more free. Below you can read the updated version:

The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Boluxia

Section 1:
Everyone is entitled to the following Freedoms; Freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom of thought, freedom of belief, freedom of expression, freedom of the press and of other media of communication, freedom of peaceful assembly, and freedom of association.

Section 2:
Every citizen of the Federal Republic of Boluxia has the right to vote in and participate in the election of the members of the National Senate and the Congress, as well as the Presidency.

Section 3:
The length of all terms in an elected office is 4 years.

Section 4:
Everyone has the right to security and liberty, as well as the right to life.

Section 5:
Everyone has the right to not be detained or imprisoned arbitrarily.

Section 6:
Everyone has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Section 7:
Everyone has the right to operate and run a business without government intervention.

Section 8:
Everyone who is mentally stable and has not been in jail for more than 5 months has the right to purchase a firearm or form a militia as long as it is not politically motivated.

Section 9:
The Boluxian Armed Forces is the official military of the Federal Republic of Boluxia, and no other military may receive public funds.

Section 10:
Every Citizen has the right to not participate in the military and will not be subjected to forced military service.

Section 11:
Military Conscription shall not be subjected onto the people and neither the National Senate or the Congress has the right to implement this.

The Volga Republic recognizes only the democratically elected socialist government of the Boluxian Socialist Republic and will support it in whatever way deemed necessary.

Boluxia, On Behalf of the Sinhai Union

The Sinese government is withdrawing consideration of recognition for the United Socialist States of Boluxia in lieu of it's failure to be willing to negotiate or compromise with one or more dissenting voices within it's land. While we will monitor the worsening situation between the Federal Republic and the United Socialist States and refuse to recognize the sovereignty of either state, we recognize that the USSB cannot profess to call itself a truly democratic institution when other institutions have taken up arms against the USSB on platforms of further democratic reform. It is obvious to the Sinese government that the USSB democracy is simply a facade for despotism.

It is the Sinhai recommendation that the international community should condemn international military involvement in the Boluxian conflict, as the struggle for creating a nation is one that must be fought by those who truly have their liberty at stake. Should a foreign peacekeeping force be sent to secure Boluxia, then Sinhai will petition all nations to refuse recognition of the regime unless such a regime is created through an internationally monitored plebiscite.

348 Protesters killed, Socialist Government suspends constitution in last ditch attempt to hold power

Large groups of people are protesting outside the USSB Capital building today after 348 Anti-Socialist protesters were killed by the Socialist Government late last night. The attack took place in Coleen Square where Anti-Socialists had put up large posters in support of the south and denouncing the last elections, calling parliament a scam. The protests were peaceful in nature and the protesters were seen fleeing as the military opened fire on them.
Not long after the slaughter, Alfred Capropoulos suspended parliament and the constitution in what is being considered the last attempt to hold power. By suspending the constitution, the current administration now has the right to kill anyone who is against the government. However it is not currently known if the Socialists have the power to control its citizens as the country collapses.

We remind the Sinhai Union that, based on the logic it applies to Boluxia, the legality of its own state comes into question, as there are factions in the Sinhai Union as well which have taken up arms against its government and advocate further democratization.
The Boluxian constitution provides for democratic participation of any democratical political movement. Ironically, the resistance to the current constitution only flared up, when pro-capitalist factions failed to gain a significant portion of the parliament, revealing the true face of the Boluxian Nationalists and how lowly they value democracy, no matter how boldly they write it on their flags.

North Boluxia changes tone, wishes to negotiate an end to the war

In light of recent events in the country, the Socialist north is planning to meet with officials of the rebellion in the south in order to unify the country. This seems surprising due to the quietness of the north in this situation, but now it is clear that the north wishes to follow a democratic route.

The Socialist North will be going into the talks with these requests:
Responsible Business
Larger taxes for public services
Strong Military Forces
No Major Dissolution in Power

The Liberal South will be going into the talks with these requests:
More Open marketplace
Less Government interference

I am here to address the situation in Boluxia. The Cortonan Republic sent C$16 Billion to the aid of the Federal Republic of Boluxia. We also pledged military support in the FRB should the need arise. That offer still stands, but it is something we very much so wish to avoid.

I am extremely happy to hear of the new rhetoric coming from the Socialist Government willing to discuss the resolve. I wish to see a peaceful resolve and a settlement between the two sides. If Boluxia requests it to be so, I will attend these talks to offer our opinion on the resolution and the revised Constitution so that it fairly appeases both sides.

Secret talks begin, Armistice deal signed

Major change in the unstable political environment tonight as both governments have signed an armistice deal while secret talks begin into reunifying the country. It is not known exactly how long the talks will take, but political forecasters are hoping for the country to be unified by the end of the month at the latest. Troops have already started pulling out of the major cities, and citizens are allowed to travel freely through both areas, and at least for now, it appears that things are returning to normal.​

Reunification Agreement reached, Socialist aligned republic to be formed

Early Reports out of Nordburg tonight are explaining the details of an agreement to create a unified republic aligned with the socialist bloc. The new country will be a Parliamentary Republic welfare state combining social democratic principles with a free market with modest taxation. The revised constitution will be publicly available once the minor details are worked out, and the new government systems are implemented. One of the main requests of the former USSB was to keep the country aligned with the Revolutionary Defense Treaty will be kept in the new Republic, and the Country may become a key region for the alliance.​
