I humbly request asylum for myself and my followers , ever since the revolution we loyal Borovangens have been forced to flee our homelands to find shelter where we can. As the last remaining leader of the legitimate government i beseech the international community to take us in, to allow us to regroup and eventually to help us return to our homeland to rid it of this red scourge. Please do not leave us alone in the wilderness remember that our fate could so easily be your own and take pity on those whose country has been stole from them.

If it was simply shelter which was being sought, we would oblige. There are many exiles within Burgundian borders. However, your Grace asks for more than simple shelter- "to allow us to regroup and eventually to help us return to our homeland to rid it of this red scourge". His grace must understand that not only is this contrary to convention but also to Burgundian foreign policy. Especially with the potential for an ideological conflict on the horizon for many nations. His Grace must realize and comprehend how Bourgogne cannot aid in the re-taking of a throne, aid in the formation of an exiled force, or create ourselves to be a home for ideologically belligerent activities which could damage our own foreign policy. If it was merely shelter, we would oblige but that is sadly not what your Grace requested.
