1) You can read postings in private forums on the front page.
2) Apparently I can change thread titles in the news forum.

Seconded both; I can edit anyones thread titles in any forum, not just my own - regardless if stickied or locked or in rapewave subforum, by double clicking the title. Not sure if that change would be visible to only me or not.

Well, those two are pretty bad. Fairly sure I cannot do anything about the first one, and well..have to investigate the second one. Can people confirm? Can somebody post something in, say, the EDF forum, and then ask somebody else whether it shows up on the front page?

It may be limited to moderators; I cannot change thread titles, nor can I see posts in private forums. Probably something you need to change with their permissions, Xen.

Well I tested the whole changing thread names thing... it allows you to type something new in, but it won't save it unless you were the treads author.

For the secret forums thing, I just posted something in the EDF forum, and it did appear in the new posts box on the homepage.

I get the prompt to change titles to threads, but cannot. It does not actually work, only works for my own threads.
Also, secret forums are likely only available to read to their members via the home page.

Ah... so these problems are solved... or rather didn't exist.

The "create new article" button does not appear for me.

This isn't per se a bug, but is there anyway to change how long until it logs you out for inactivity. Having to re login every time is annoying. (yes I already have username/pw saved)

This is not a bug, but a feature issue (or rather lack of feature issue). Previously it was possible to link accounts, allowing for quick user switching. While it's not a significant issue (as I am apparently the only one running two countries, which I'm making a very conscious effort to not overlap politically) I would really like to see this feature implemented once again, as relogging everytime I want to make a post on the other is a bit annoying. If the feature isn't available in the new forum style, then no worries.

Just putting the issue out there for Xen to know I'd like to see a change. I doubt there's a significant userbase needing this change though.
