Touzen Embassy Torrence
Sirs,
the Constitutional State wishes to communicate its non-interference in the ongoing hostilities between the Sacred Kingdom and the member states of the European Defense Federation. At the same time, we are expressing our concern about the escalation of the crisis and strongly urge that the authorities of the Sacred Kingdom will be able to find a dialog avenue to return to the negotiation table with the European Defense Federation for the restoration of international peace and the protection of innocent civilians on both sides.
The Constitutional State furthermore has no intention of ordering Touzen-based enterprises to desist from operating in or trading with the Sacred Kingdom, and we consider all arrangements that have been agreed upon previous to the outbreak of war between the Sacred Kingdom and the European Defense Federation to be valid and binding. Yet, due to the changing security situation in Germania, we can only maintain our trade ties:
- if the Sacred Kingdom can ensure the safety of Touzen expats
- if the Sacred Kingdom can guarantee the safety of Solaren citizens employed in Touzen-owned companies
- if the Sacred Kingdom will allow the utilization of private security companies for the purpose of protecting assets owned by Touzen nationals from plunder, arson and other effects of military operations
Should these points be honored, the Constitutional State is willing to maintain its trade ties to the Sacred Kingdom and expand them in the future where both sides see fit. Furthermore the Constitutional State would be willing to permit Solaren ships bound for the Constitutional State to fly the Touzen flag, bringing them under the security umbrella of the Continental Navy. We are furthermore willing to harbor on the territory of our embassy and potentially extradite to Touzen territory the sick, elderly, women and children.
Yours Sincerely,
Yamashita Daiki
Touzen Ambassador to the Sacred Kingdom of Solaren
