SUBJECT: AURARIAN ELECTIONS

FOR THE EYES OF THE AMBASSADOR ONLY

Ambassador,

Please make note of the following:

1. It is imperative the Republic of Cathiopia possesses full and proper knowledge of all the intentions of Auraria's major political parties.

1a. Based on the information provided in your report (for annotated version see attached Document 1), and that provided by intelligence sources, we define the following as 'major political parties':

• Aurarine Confederation of the Autonomous Right (ACAR) / Confederación Aurariano de la Derecha Autónoma (CADA)
• Aurarine Progressive Party (APP) / Partido Progresista Aurariano (PPA)
• Union of the Revolutionary Syndicate for the Worker (URSW) / Unión del Sindicato Revolucionario de la Mano de Obra (USRMO)

1b. You are to schedule meetings with the following individuals:

• Roberto Urbina of Naranjo (APP)
• Esteban Nazario Alvarado of Aluche (ACAR)
• Espiridión Abarca of Navadijos (URSW)

(Order of list reflects priority)
(For detailed profiles see attached Documents 2; 3; 4)

1c. Discussions with Presidential candidates should focus on Cathiopia's three general foreign policy priorities:

• International Commission on Decolonisation
• Union of Republics
• Thaumantic Security Agreement

2. It is the quiet belief of this Government that Roberto Urbina of Naranjo and the Aurarine Progressive Party will prevail in the Presidential and legislative elections.

2a. This outcome is considered beneficial to Cathiopia's regional and global interests, and should be discreetly encouraged. (for detailed plans see Document 8)

2b. This outcome is also considered beneficial to Frescania's regional and global interests, and Frescanian officials will be adopting similar policies.

2b(i). Frescania has agreed to share resources through the mechanisms of the Thaumantic Security Alliance​

3. It is the opinion of this Government all other eventualities are detrimental to Cathiopia's regional and global interests. (for detailed assessment see Document 9)

3a. It is the opinion of the Frescanian government all other eventualities are detrimental to Frescania's regional and global interests as well.

3b. Measures necessary to prevent such outcomes should be discreetly implemented. (for detailed plans see Document 10)

3b(i). Frescania has promised to co-operate in this area​

TO: PERMANENT DELEGATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF CATHIOPIA TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON DECOLONISATION (NKALAMENGA) / DELEGATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF CATHIOPIA TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON DECOLONISATION - EASTERN CAPE MISSION (PORT VICTORIA) / EASTERN CAPE COMMAND - 1st PROVISIONAL MIXED BRIGADE (PORT VICTORIA)

SUBJECT: AUGUSTABORG

FOR THE EYES OF APPROVED OFFICIALS OF THE STATED OFFICES ONLY

Please make note of the following:

1. All military elements of the 1st Provisional Mixed Brigade are to be redeployed to Østkapstaden immediately.

1a. Paramilitary and civilian law enforcement elements of the 1st Provisional Mixed Brigade are to remain in Port Victoria

1a(i). Paramilitary and civilian law enforcement elements of the 1st Provisional Mixed Brigade are to continue with normal operational duties.​

1b. Military elements of the 1st Provisional Mixed Brigade should be in a state of combat readiness.

1b(i). Military elements of the 1st Provisional Mixed Brigade should expect orders to later relocate to Augustaborg soon.​

2. Humanitarian supplies and staff are to be redirected to Augustaborg and the surrounding districts.

2a. Preferential treatment is to be granted to individuals from the Samhara ethnicity.
​

3. Political and diplomatic material staff are also to be redirected to Augustaborg and the surrounding districts.

3a. All representatives of the Republic of Cathiopia and the International Commission on Decolonisation are expected to promote the territorial integrity of the Republic of the Eastern Cape.
