To Minister Cyrus Black,

Firstly and though it comes late, we would like to congratulate Natal on it's victories in Loago and wish continued good luck in the fight against the remnants of the rebel forces. I write in an effort to repair the decay in relations between the Natalian Federation and our republic after the nefarious deeds of the previous administration. Our two countries have many similarities, a frontiersman's hopeful attitude, the strength and fortitude of the miner and the factory worker and a love for the democratic ideals that shape our homelands. That is why I find it extremely regrettable that the previous administration saw fit to allow the distance in our relationship to grows to wide and in some cases found it within themselves to admonish the rightful actions of your government. We promise that this no longer will be the case.

We feel then that it would be in our best interest to find ways in which we could then strengthen our relationship, to perhaps learn from one another new ways of leading our people and increasing trade, whether information to further better the industrial capacities of our two countries or products to further build our economies. Military cooperation will also be on the table should it be agreeable to the government of Natal. As a step forward we will offer high altitude aerial photography that could be instrumental in tracking the movements and locations of rebel forces that have yet to surrender.

We hope that this discussion will prove fruitful, in the future it is the intention of our new President, Ashley Breckenridge, to meet with the honorable Lady Protector Adrianne Stone for a tour of your great country.

The Federation of Natal salutes its cousins from two different hemispheres, both north and west, cordially and thanks them for their political support in the fight against communism, and heterodox fictionalism. We are deeply concerned for the actions of the previous administration which has pushed Sylvania into a state of complacency, rust and decay, preferring to keep an electorate hostage to aid benefits rather than push them to dream and follow the guidelines of Sander Rygaard in becoming great. The later news of the cult have troubled us even more. But rest assured, the people and government of Natal have always seen the Sylvanian people are great friends, even though we have felt in the last administration that there was an enormous rift between the government and the people.

In regards to the cult set up by President Jilian Snyder and the vice president, the two Sylvanians working at the Continental Republic's embassy in Camp Hill, namely Mason Davies and Evelyn Brooks, are under investigation and now stand accused of creating a network of human trafficking, targeting young boys of Engell descent from the rural areas of the Langfield Free State, aged between 9 and 13 years old, with the sole purpose of sending them to their deaths in the halls of the mansion owned by Lars Ellington. As per the gravity of the situation, the two are now facing the death penalty in Natal, but as they are Sylvanian citizens, this makes it more complicated. We thus expect your own government's opinion and this and we are open to extradition if this is the wish of Charleroi.

The Federation would be delighted to see President Ashley Breckenridge visit Natal and will be ready to organise a state visit where the Sylvanian delegation will meet State President Adrianne Stone, together with the cabinet led by the Chief Minister Demetria Unathi Vavi to discuss closer ties between our countries and investment and trade opportunities.

To Minster Cyrus Black,

We are heartened at your kind and warm response and thank you for your support in our effort to bring government thinking in line with the free peoples the previous administration saw fir to oppress and use as play things. We have pledged and will continue to pledge that this administration shall focus solely on the constitutional values that the Sylvanian people hold dear. As good friends we will count on you and most importantly our people to help us keep on the path that freedom demands.

It is deeply regrettable to find that young Natalians were caught up in the evil deeds of Ellington, his death and the justice that we shall bring upon his co-conspirators shall never avenge the innocents that they abused and murdered. The Department of Justice is working hard to make sure that all living victims are returned to their native countries as soon as they are stable enough mentally and physically to travel to their homes. This of course includes Natalians swept up in the removal of the cult. While it pains me to discuss it, the bodies of those that can be identified will also be sent to be interred as their families wish. A government relief fund is being established to provide financial compensation to the families of those affected, foreign born nationals that were found will be eligible to draw from this fund. Living victims will be given a lifetime stipend and deceased will be given a one time payment. These amounts have yet to be determined, but I can tell you the numbers being discussed are quite substantial.

As for Mason Davies and Evelyn Brooks, we will not pursue extradition at this time. However they will be tried in absentia by the tribunal that is currently being formed to try crimes related to the cult. Should the Natalian justice system not find them worthy of the death penalty and the tribunal does, only then shall we ask for extradition so that their execution may be carried out.

President Breckenridge looks forward to his meeting with the Lady Protector, his staff will be in contact soon to discuss details for the trip.
