Friends, we have decided to call a debate and referendum on what can be done, or what should be done in the East at this point in time. Our typical enemy Carentania has decided to move full fledged into opposing Sikandara and eventually even 3rd party trade ships will be threatened. On top of this intelligence has confirmed the use of chemical and biological weaponry by the Yujin against the Vangalans. This is a great insidious threat to all nations, and something that must be addressed now. The risk of weaponized disease, while it may seem unlikely, is potent enough to spread from eastern lands into Germania, Gallia, and even to Scania and beyond. The Republic of Asylan is willing to send special forces operatives into this battleground in order to streamline intelligence gathering efforts and militarily assess the situation. Fixing the east will be impossible and intervention astronomically expensive. While we are horrified by the use of chemical weapons and the constant warmongering of all those involved, we feel that entering this conflict in any significant way will drag us into a situation that will rot our nations slowly but surely. Carentania's involvement in the Yujin civil war is a great example of their foolishness, they will all die in that meat grinder and no matter how much they fight they will get nothing from it but absolute ruin. I call upon Asylan to explain how becoming involved in that bloody mess will benefit us in anyway. Instead I propose a counter, the nations of the Tripartite Agreement must discuss a way to make sure that the Yujiner civil war never ends so as to bring complete ruin to all imperialist and communist powers involved.

On the Republic of Asylan's Proposal

The Free Cities' League agrees with our Sylvanian colleagues. We should not bring to us the arrogance to think we should tell other nations how to rule their affairs. Toyou is still a backwards area where humanity and freedom are not known, but we should not act like missionaries and try to intervene in whatever fashion. The peoples of Toyou will suffer so much that they will understand how both autocratic feudal warlords or communist tyrants do not fight for them. As such, they will eventually rise up, we trust. For the meanwhile, we should history take its course - our democracies and our freedoms were also built in gallons of blood and strife. Theirs will probably be as well.

We are afraid that our fellow Triparte nations have misunderstood what we were saying. The only proposal we have suggested is sending in a small observation team, nothing else. This was designed to get talks on strategies and end goals. However Asylan does not support extending horrifying civil war for the sake of bringing ruin to our enemies. The RDTO has again attempted to extend its influence and its direct military interference will ensure this war will not last forever. We must find economic, diplomatic, or covert solutions to their interventions. We are aware that a direct military intervention is out if the question.
