Kadikistani Union
Established Nation
Background
Nearly one year after the 7 Days War the Kadikistani Union was still occupied by their own internal conflict. Societal schisms creating several internal factions within the Communist Workers' Party with radical differences on some fields, but also overlapping interests on others. The many complications of this becoming abundantly clear with the Second Northern Uprising which broke out during the weeks leading up to the last great war in Germania. These events had been keeping the eyes of Ivar strongly fixed on itself rather than the many global events taking place during the course of last year. The Union had turned inwards, neglecting its firm grip on nations such as Polesia, Calidia and Crotobaltislavonia. With the conflict in the Northern enclaves reaching a final stage and the relations between the Central Committee and the Northern Slavic strongholds thawing many within the higher echelons agreed that it was time to shift the focus back to were it always had been the past century, Germania.
Of all Germanian allies Crotobaltislavonia had been the most difficult to consolidate. To secure the Union's foothold in Crotobaltislavonia the massive nation had put itself on the brink of war with their former competitors from the now defunct Trier Concordat more than a few times. To keep the local Marxist-Leninovists in the saddle required countless interventions, both military and through other means. Not to mention the vast investments made through the
The Union sacrificed labour and the blood of its sons and daughters to keep Crotobalitslavonia out of the hands of the West. Ivar was now forced to recognize that a year of internal conflicts had paved the way for the Slavonian leadership to show their gratitude by turning away from their long-time benefactor. Kadikistan had not forgotten the sacrifices it made and as long as Kadikistan still had troops in Crotobalislavonia it still had considerable leverage.

SUBJECT: Allegiance
Esteemed Comrade,
Recognizing the deviationist nature of both the internal and external policies of the Free Canton of Crotobaltislavonia. Recognizing joint military exercises held with Grand Duchy of Lars, the military contracts made with the People's Republic of Serenierre, the Slavonian minister pleading for an abandonment of the Kadiko-Slavonian relations, the active improvement of relations with belligerent Western nations and many other initiatives with the presumed purpose of creating a rift between both our fine nations.
We request an immediate explanation for thess decision-makings and seek clarity concerning the intentions of Banja Luka toward the Kadikistani Union.
Signed,
Marshal Sergei Moravscik

. This extensive economic recovery plan meant both to rebuild the nation and revitalize its economy while also integrating the latter into the economy of the Kadikistani Union in order to create a dependency. The list of Kadikistani initiatives towards the ever-turbulent Free Canton was a very long one, but on top of the list was no doubt the military confrontation with the former Grand Duchy of Burgundy in order to preserve the sovereignty of the relatively small land-locked nation. The Union sacrificed labour and the blood of its sons and daughters to keep Crotobalitslavonia out of the hands of the West.
