Approximately nine past eleven did the aircraft land at Bassakusu airport, where the delegation was allowed to leave the plane another ten minutes later. For Alfred Inning, the 62-year old Foreign Minister and member of the nationalist Fatherland Leauge, it was not the first time he visited Bassakusu. Twelve years earlier he already experienced the intense warm Bangalan sun cascading down his face, the humidity encroaching as he drew breath. He loosened his tie but decided to keep on his blazer, though he yearned for it to be taken off. He kept his cool nonetheless, not willing to show any sign - be it small or large - of weariness or discontent. A proud man he was. Accompanying Mr. Inning were Bernard Haffert, Chairman of the Grand College - Vaalre's official collective head of state - and Chancellor Edert Hermansen. Haffert, aside being the unofficial Bondspresident, also lead the Fatherland League and was three years younger than Inning. The two officials had been friends and brothers in arms since college. Just as Hermansen, it was Haffert's first time in the Himyar and he too judged the sun to be a bit agonising. "Quite a difference now and eight hours ago, don't you think?" he said. Edert Hermansen smiled in consent. The tripartite was to stay in Bassakusu for two days and were actually anxious to see the King of Bangala. The three heard much rumour concerning the monarch: having heard him being both very amicable and stern depending his temperament. Or so they have heard...

The King is known to be very direct, and at the same time he is known for talking too much, and loves long conversations.
The Vaalrishs were escorted to the interior of the Palace to an meeting room, there waiting for them were King of Bangala and the Protector of the Realm.

"Finnaly, Welcome to Bangala, We are honored to have you here." said the King."But now, take a seat to we dicuss with more comfort."

"Thank you kindly", replied Mr. Bernard Haffert. Together with Mr. Hermansen and Mr. Inning he gently bowed and seated down opposite the King. A serviceman offered the delegation a cold beverage, which they gladly accepted. "Cheers!" The King nodded.

"We assume, your Majesty, now our two countries are likely to establish a new trade agreement, the days of tense relations are over. This will be the advent of renewed cooperation between our nations and governments." thus began Haffert. "Specifically, we would like to discuss the import of Bangalan raw materials, such as rubber and cobalt, the export of Vaalrish finished products, the possible establishment of Vaalrish enterprise in Bangala and perhaps, the social position of the Zwart minority in the south."

The King really didn't like very much when people talk about the "Zwart Minorities" like an foreign people. While the rest of the government personnel was neutral... But the King was always a man of strong opinions.

"Of Course... Vaalre can import Bangalan raw materials!" said the King."I'm sure that several Bangalan Industries from North to South would be very honored to have contracts with the Vaalrish Industries, and what kind of Vaalrish finished products Bangala can import??"
