The Eiffellandian Government had two Government planes, both built by the Eiffellandian aircraft company Dassau. One plane was a Schwan: Dassau's long-range commercial airliner. It was a four-engine-plane that could fly up to 9000 km. It was still a propeller plane, but a jet airliner that could fly that far was simply still not possible to construct yet. Dassau was working on it, though. The other plane was a Komet: Dassau's medium-range commercial airliner. This was a four-engine-jet-plane that could fly up to 4000 km. Actually, it was the first commercial airliner with jet-engines. But it couldn't reach Bangala without a stop-over. Therefore, Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Stephan Röpke took the Schwan to fly to Bangala. After having flown for half a day, the plane started to descend to land at the international airport of Bangala.

OOC: Let's do it here.

Royal Airport of Bassakusu, Bassakusu, Kingdom of Bangala

The Protector of Economy was waiting for the Eiffellander Minister at the Royal Airport of Bassakusu.

"Peace be with you! I am Count Albert av Mbamngo-Ndongo, the Protector of Economy of Bangala and servant to His Grace King Maximiliaan. It is a pleasure and an honor to be of service to you. I am here to take you to Royal Palace of Bassakusu, and to answer any questions you might have. So please make yourself at home!" said Count Albert.

"Peace be with you as well, Sir," Minister Röpke replied. Then he introduced himself and his staff. After that, all people followed Count Mbamngo-Ndongo to the motorcade that would take them to the Royal Palace.

They traveled through Bassakusu.

"His Royal Majesty will greet us at the palace," Count Albert said, "and hold a personal audience with you. He's an intelligent man and he's interested in discussing the future of an trade with Eiffelland."

Some distance outside of the city, the cars finally got to the gates of the Royal Palace, guarded by patrols of the Grace Guard. One of the oldest palaces in Himyar and one of the finest decorated, with two levels and two separate wings spreading north and west, it was not exactly like the castles of Eiffeland, it was an impressive sight nonetheless. The cars were permitted in, going around the curve that went around the large fountain out front, making up of three sprouting layers. The first pulled up front, and the Grace Guards opened up the doors, saluting as the nobles came out.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Count Albert commented after Minister and his staff had stepped out. "You know since 1815 it was housed by someone of the Royal Bangalan family!

Suddenly they rounded a corner, and got to a doorway. There they were, at the entrance to the King's study. There, inside, they found the old and thin King. He was found sitting in a great wodden chair, beneath a large statue of King Willem II, his father. The King, meanwhile, turned and smiled at the group.

"Lords," Maximiliaan said in German, "welcome to my country, the great Kingdom of Bangala."

The Eiffellandian delegates were impressed by the Bangalan Royal Palace. Indeed, it was a building style they had never seen. And it was impressive.

As soon as the Eiffellandian delegation entered the King's study, they all bowed. Then Minister Röpke said: "Thank you, Your Majesty. And thank you for inviting us. I think our respective countries can mean a lot to each other. Therefore, it is indeed important that we meet each other."

"Won't you excellencies please sit down?" Count Albert asked, waving to several plush, decorative chairs and even a lovely, antique couch near the King's own seat. The King waited until all had seated themselves, then sat down himself. Count Albert remained standing for his own part, taking a place near the King Willem statue as if to remain, for the most part, behind the scenes.

"The flight was pleasant, I hope?" King Maximiliaan asked. "And you liked the City? Also, if you don't mind a silly and old man like myself bombarding you with so many questions, what is going on in Eiffelland right now? The Gallian news in Bangala is very sensationalized!"

"Quite a lot, Your Majesty," Minister Dr. Röpke said. "Trier is going to get a new airport, outside the city. The construction works have already begun. We are also building a motorway around the city centre of Trier. And of course, we developed two vaccines against polio. We are studying more vaccines by the way. Furthermore, Medictronics is about to introduce a small pacemaker which can be implanted in the human body."

Then Dr. Röpke took a sip of his water.

"We are extending our network of television senders over the country. Of course not everybody can afford a television, but many pubs have one, so the television is reaching out to more and more people. Sport matches are broadcasted over the television more and more, and everybody goes to the pubs to watch those matches there. All in all, almost everybody is happy in Eiffelland."

"Wonderful, Wonderful," the King said, listening to the Minister's account. "Eiffelland is going to the Future!"

"And we, We are building an iron bridge in to link São Paulo de Loanda with the Elefanta Island for economic purposes and we had discovered some mines in the Ngazi Valley, near the Erdershire border at the north of the city of Ngazi, with Gold and Cooper. And we are opening some places to International Refineries in the Zwart Coast." said the King

"Actually, we saw the bridge you referred to, Your Majesty," Röpke said. "I have to make a compliment to the engineers. It is becoming a very beautiful bridge. And it was certainly a wise decision to build it."

He took a sip from his water. Then he continued.

"You also say that deposits of gold and copper were found. That must be good news for your country. Have you already started mining it? I can tell you that our electronics industries are very interested in the copper, but I think that there will also be a market for the gold in Eiffelland. And oil is something we are also very interested in. Because oil is such an important substance, we consider it best to have contact with as many oil suppliers as possible. There is certainly room for another oil company on the Eiffellandian market."

"Now, on the subject of economics," he continued, trying to remember his notes, since they were in his bag, which is somewhere not by his side, "the Crown would be interested in finished products, for the common person. Bangalans, by nature, are an people that appreciates good products."

He pauses as he picks up his cup to take a sip, setting it back down, continuing.

"On the matter of copper and gold, Bangala has interests in seeling it to the Eiffellander Market, as we has a majorly area of that goods.

"The Eiffellandian industry can offer your people exactly what they want," Minister Dr. Röpke said. "For instance our car industries. Borschel delivers sports cars. Raimer delivers trucks, luxury cars and also a sports car; furthermore, this company has a car model specially designed for police forces, and it builds ambulances. Magirus Deutz delivers steam, diesel and electric train locomotives, as well as trucks, buses, firefighting trucks (in fact it invented the turntable ladder) and agricultural machines. Borgward produces higher middle class and luxury cars. And finally, Darner Werke and EKW deliver VANs and compact cars; Darner Werke also delivers its van in special configurations for the police and fire brigade, and as ambulance."

Röpke took a sip from his water. Then he continued.

"The Rathenau Gruppe is our consumer electronics company. It produces coffee machines, washing machines, dish washers, wash dryers, bread toasters, hair dryers, radios, pick-ups, tape recorders, name a device with a live wire attached to it, and Rathenau produces it. Or Medictronics, our medical devices company. It is currently developing a pacemaker which can be implanted into the body. For the remainder, it produces defibrillators, ECG equipment and bone reconstruction materials and so on. Heppendorf is our manufacturer of hospital and laboratory equipment, among others iron lungs, X-ray equipment and so on. Boehrig Ingelheim is our pharmaceuticals company. Furthermore, Karl Seiff GmbH. is a company focussed on lens techniques; it delevers everything with lenses in it, from binoculars to cameras. Agfas also builds cameras, but is most widely known for their colour photo films."

OOC: Well, I myself am extremely busy, so I understand the problem ;)

Regarding my industries, please find them in (car industries), (defence and civil aircraft) and (all other industries).

"Ah, that's great to hear," responded the King enthusiastically, while mentalling beating himself up for not mentioning his nation's all goods, "I'd be able to negotiate a deal with the major producers to deal with Eiffeland" said the King "Our interest is in the cars and electronics companies, that is the first stage of need."

"I forgot to mention, The Bangalan Mines Industries (BMI) would be most pleased to sell the mineral goods both by air and sea, to the Eiffellander Industries, and this initiative can and would enable use to reach the New Bangalan rail system.." smiled the King.

"Your Majesty, we ourselves don't have very many minerals. The only mineral we have in abundance is coal. This means that we are very much interested in minerals mined by BMI or any other Bangalan mining company," Röpke said. "I can also announce you that the Eiffellandian car and electronics industries will be very happy to manufacture their products also for Bangala. I think we both can help each other by supplying each other's needs."
