That is not only a grave misunderstanding of socialist economics, which are about the means of production being collectively held rather than by selected few, and about democratic involvement in the production process and the egalitarian access to the wealth of nature and human labor - it is also a grave misunderstanding of Pope Urbans relationship to capitalist Europe. Countless major corporations profited - and still profit - from the conditions under which the Solaren people are enslaved to work in factories, mines and land for the profit of foreign investors. This participation in the cruel exploitation of the Solaren population is unacceptable and must be stopped.

"It is regretful to see the Carentanian Empire and the Solaren National Congress preaching about democracy, while demanding that the latter becomes the universally recognised government of all Solaren without election. While we respect socialism as an ideology, it is humiliatingly two-faced, two-tongued and hypocritical to preach it as democratic while Carentania and the Solaren National Congress refuse non-socialists among them, or as coalition partners in an interim government in Solaren.
"A clear and firm solution to the Solaren question will be for the Carentanian and European Defence Federation governments to agree on forming a coalition government for Solaren that will include the Solaren National Congress, and allow the repatriation of individuals displaced by war or evicted by invading forces. A coalition interim government can then lead Solaren to elections, allowing the local populace to decide what system they wish to follow, and thus solving the question among communists and non-communists."

What is shameful is Carentania's attempt to use the SLC as a proxy to limit the economic opertunities and political freedom of the Solaren people by allowing only those with certain economic views to participate in the creation of a new Solaren government.

What is truly disturbing is the attempt to rebrand the attempt to uphold certain standards in regards to rights of individuals and minorities as Carentanian interference. The Carentanian government has at no time interfered in the political positions of our organization. It comes at no surprise that this outcry is only concerning the profits of the selected few who have expropriated the Solaren people as a whole with the aid of the Urban dictatorship - there seems to be no demand to not limit the interim government in regards to the participation of supporters of Pope Urban, of those who think that the Solaren people should have a choice to decide about whether or not perhaps they want to live in a dictatorship? That is, because it is clear to even bourgeoise ideologues that such a choice can not be made by any majority, no matter how large, because it treads upon the rights of the individual, which are sacred beyond any majority decision. Whenever it comes to money and profit, however, these very same ideologues close their eyes and begin to use democracy as a strawman.

Big Four Show Revenues Down
Euskadi's four largest conglomerates, the Karranza Group, the Darraidou Group, the Salazar Group and the Leniz-Garza Group, have all shown a marked downturn in revenues in the past quarter, not only in foregn markets but in domestic ones as well, an indicator that, with the Gallian Wars still unresolved and possible outbreak of hostilities in Northern Hamyir, even Euskadi's largest businesses are beginning to feel the pinch. Though no layoffs have been mentioned, there has been some talk in Iruña to modify Euskadi trade policies to allow for greater access to prevoiusly untapped foreign markets.
