The Workers' Republic of Carentania has expressed its condemnation for the recent attacks by the Danish Empire on the independent and neutral nation of Rageistan. No threat towards Danish citizens or assets had been made by the people and government of Rageistan and we consider the explanations given by the Danish government for this act of war - to establish a base against Miroslavl - to be woefully inadequate. Violating a nations neutrality just because it provides a base in proximity of a nations actual target of warfare is in deepest violation of any and all standards of international diplomacy and must be met with condemnation by any nation desiring to uphold these elementary foundations of global peace architecture.

It is Carentanias conviction that Europe can not sit idly in face of such gross violations, lest these will repeat themself in the future. We call upon partners across ideological boundries to unite against this act of imperialism and sanction the recent Danish behaviour to set clear limits on the aggressive Danish foreign policy and demand a withdrawal of Danish forces from the territory of Rageistan.

My government is awaiting the response of the Danish government to our request for assurances with regards to our own neutrality before formulating a further response. However, we are deeply dismayed by the actions of Danmark in this matter and are considering taking further action to demonstrate our resolve to the Danish government. Telora's own neutrality is one that we prize highly, and the message that this sends out to the other Great Powers of Europe; that neutrality may be violated freely and without sanction, is one that we cannot welcome.

I must also seek to assure you that, with the domestic political debate in our country taking on a substantially more shrill tone as a result of the Danish action, the Executive does not foresee a change in Teloran foreign or defence policy of any great size before our next round of elections, due in September 1953. We, and our party colleagues in Congress, are committed to working to bloc such moves by other parties and ensure that Telora does all she can to remain a voice for moderation in Europe.

The United Republic has observed the atrocious imperialism of Danmark and as such will support joining with Carentania in calling for sanctions against the Danish nation and war machine. Our condemnations of Danmark and the ilk that associate with this fascist nation have become many and we tire in issuing them almost every other week. Should Danmark ignore the calls to stand down one more time sanctions will be needed, however Sylvania will not support a war to stop Danmark's aggression. We must issue these sanctions quickly and with great efficiency if we wish to truly have an effect upon the Danish economy. For now nations should stop doing business with Danmark and seek to exclude it from any new economic deals and trade treaties. The status quo of this planet is in jeopardy by Danmark's violent rise to power and the whole world is on the verge of being sucked into the pigsty of blood that Danmark, The Mezhist Union and Miroslavl now roll around in.

Though our political alignments are far apart from each other, we must now reach across this very ideological gulf to preserve real and truthful peace. We must also commend Carentania's show of bravery by fully embracing opposition to the savage Danish Empire.

The People's Assembly convened and voted on a related issue, the majority determined that no overt or direct action would be taken to support the People's Republic of Miroslavl. However, this unprovoked, unnecessary and entirely imperialist assault on neutral Rageistan is clear and unequivocal proof that the Danish Empire's eyes are too big for their belly. Whilst their aid for their ally, the Mezhist Union, is understandable, their greed for foreign territories is not. Therefore, a secondary convocation was met, and a majority vote in favour of unilateral condemnation of this gross and offensive invasion has been agreed upon.

Though we cannot materially aid the Rageistani people at this time, we shall take whatever steps are possible and necessary to aid Carentania in its pursuit for peace, and to show the arrogant Danmark regime that it cannot behave in this uncivillised, imperialist manner any longer.

This is the majority will of the People's Republic, and as a Nation and as a State we decry Danmark for its aggression.

Rageistan's affiliation to Miroslav is no secret and it would only be a matter of time before they made a move against the Danish. We trust the actions of the Danish Government and believe they hold the dignity of the people in the highest regard. We are confident that the people in Rageistan will be treated with dignity through the progression of this war.

The Jurzani Government will not join Carentania in a condemnation of the Danish Government.

After a an extraordinary session of the People's Council, even if Danmark was a traditional ally of the Socialist Republic, we hope that the Imperium will end this imperialist adventure and thus return to normal relation with us and with their neighbors. We will support our friends form the Worker's Republic of Carentania in condemning the Danish Imperialism.

While we understand the need of aiding an ally, even if that ally is the Mezhist Union, we do not understand how a nation can attack another state just because it was liberated by the enemy. This is imperialism in its purest form and we are grieved to see that our friends have chosen this path of reactionary neo-colonialism.

The Republic finds itself agreeing with sentiments that accurately describe the recent Danish actions as imperialist, aggressive and entirely unwarranted in their nature, scope and intention. The Danish government has expressed its commitment to harboring clear designs of domination and conquest, recently underlined in Boliatur, Miroslavl and neutral Raigestan, but also has embraced such notions as a long term vision as evidenced by the continued colonial statutes imposed by Christiansborg upon the Implarian.

This government proposes to enact sanctions against the Danish state, beginning at the most basic, crucial and agreeable junction: a ban on arms sales and oil shipments to the Kingdom, directly affecting the Danish ability to wage offensive war across the globe. We consider this proposal not only to be directly tied to the object of our grievances - the aggression expressed by the Danish government towards the rest of the world - but also the most agreeable consensus that can be reached on an international scale. Should the Danish state continue its aggression even when confronted with these sanctions, the international community should then gradually increase its pressure on Christiansborg by imposing a new round of more drastic and punitive sanctions.

His Royal Majesty has been in talks with his ally and friend, HM King Frederik III of Danmark and has spoken about his differences in opinion towards Danish action in Miroslav and Rageistan; however, HRM King Haakon V will not join any campaign to imbue sanctions upon his ally and friend. The Danish actions in the Easterly Northern Slavlands are not of our position to critique, and are not in our current interests to propagate as problematic. Our concerns with the Danish Government have been addressed to a satisfactory condition for the time being and we have dismissed this concern for the imminent future.

His Royal Majesty also finds the timing of this questioning of Danish policy with the international community to be ill-advised. The recent protest of the Kvenland Government towards your government's actions near the Jurzan feel to be the reasoning for your questioning of Northerly politics and HRM King Haakon V is not interested in cooperating until your government refrains from it's recently adopted policy regarding illicit action on the high seas. As soon as this action has been halted, His Royal Majesty shall be open to discussion with your own government on a variety of issues. Until then, the Kingdom of Agderike finds this questioning frivolous and out of spite when concerning recent events.

As stated, His Royal Majesty has been in talks with his ally and friend, HM King Frederik III of Danmark. These discussions are not privy to the public domain; however, they have been inquisitive and qualitative in nature.

The Kingdom of Agderike does not fashion itself as a realm in which to act upon the whims and impulses of calls of European policing. On the contrary, Agderike is a nation that is part of the whole, and does not seek to interfere in conflicts that have little business of her people's immediately well-being. Our concerns have been addressed by the Danish Government in a satisfactory condition. Until further news reports from the front are released, we have no reason to change our current position.

—While the Rijeka's attempts to appeal to His Royal Majesty's humanitarian and enlightened mind are indeed noble, they are not well timed. Such a protest a week ago, before these recent events by your government would have weighed far heavier than they do now. We hope your government understands our position, and if it does, it will heed our advice and end restrictive maritime policies towards the Jurzan. At which point, HRM King Haakon V will be more than willing to discuss a global and universal action plan towards the Northeasterly Slavic Conflicts with your government.

In other words, our protests have been lodged against the Danish Government, and our protests against the Carentanian government have been recorded as of yesterday. We see no double standard as our Kingdom has not made as of yet a restrictive action against either nation in an economic or militaristic manner. That said, our cautionary protest towards your government has been heavier in terms of potential action. This can be attributed towards our lack of relations, and the continual resentment and spite continuously dispatched between monarchist and socialist governments. Until our relations are healthier, we cannot see the direction of foreign policy changing.

Recent developments in the Long Sea have forced us to question Carentania's latest naval activities, specifically the blockade of The Jurzan. Let me be clear that I respect Carentania's right to make sure that their national security is not threatened by any outside forces or subversive terrorist groups inside. However the current situation threatens to become something much more than a routine national security exercise. Though we still wish to support an international effort to peacefully subdue the imperialist Danes, we are hesitant to do so if the government who is in the most advantageous position to help enforce any decision made here is also imposing itself upon its neighbor without proof justifying the action. Therefore this Republic requests that Carentania prove that it had legal rights to detain the Mezhist ship and show evidence to justify an arms embargo on The Jurzan.

The cause to find an adequate response to recent Danish foreign policy blunders should, in the opinion of this government, not be tied up with the situation surrounding the Carentanian actions in regards to The Jurzan, a situation that a large part of the international community already has seen fit to position itself on. The issue of Danish aggression is not one singularly concerning the government of the Worker's Republic or any other entity for that matter, but a reason for concern for the entire international community. The Republic is more than willing to present a draft for a joint statement on Danish imperialism to further emphasize the international character of a condemnation of the Danish government and to strongly disavow any notions of a notion pushed merely by one member of the international community, a concern that seems to exist in certain circles which we should move to address if we want to present an united front.
