TO: The Governments of [MENTION=26]Bourgogne[/MENTION] @Courleon [MENTION=1690]Venissieux[/MENTION] SUB​ : Official invitation for regional summit Premier Shahrazad Martinique, following her installation as the head of government, invites her counterparts from the Francophone world to meet her in a grand summit held in Villesen to discuss common areas of concerns and possibilities of mutual cooperation and enhanced relations. The Government of Belmont believes that the Republic should build positive ties based on the common betterment of the Francophone peoples. To the Government of Belmont,

Though the Seneca Union State is a nation founded by those Peoples and Patriots primarily of Engellexic or Diets descent, it is nevertheless undeniable that the Franks too form a critical component of our greater Colonial identity. This influence is obvious in many facets of Colonial society, and former Frankish imperial holdings are now as much part of the inseparable heartland of the Union State as any Engellexic ones. According to the most recent census, 8% of the population of the Union State speaks French natively; nearly four times that doing so as a second language. It is on the basis of this shared history and cultural association that the Union State considers itself to be a part of the Francophone world, undeniably in part if not necessarily whole.

With this in mind, the Union State would be very much interested in developing new ties with the Francophone world, and thus in participation in this upcoming summit. Assuming the approval of all other attending states, a Colonial representative will be promptly dispatched, with the Union State content to even attend in an observing or associate capacity if needs be.

Her Majesty's Government agrees that a summit of the Francophone countries could certainly improve cultural relations between the countries. Cœurlois, our nation's spoken language, undoubtedly traces its vernacular genealogy to the language. I have been personally asked by The Queen to represent the Cœurlois people and Government.
