Carentania Intrudes on Freiheitian's Rights!

The nation of Carentania has taken the liberty to attack Freiheitian citizens' rights. The nation ordered the arrest of workers and ambassadors at the Freiheitian Embassy, which is by international law Freiheitian soil.

"The fact that Carentania acts like it can get away with such things is truly insulting. The Council of Nations had better take action against these attacks upon our people, or Freiheit will have to take the liberty to retaliate against these idiots. Those embassy workers had nothing to do with this civil war, and are completely innocent, however Carentania is to cowardly to try any form of diplomatic resolution. Making the Council of Nations move foward with trade sanctions against our nation does not seem enough. If we do not act swiftly Carentania may try to capture innocents in our home land. I will not allow this to go on any further, and I demand the imedeate release of all Freiheit citizens arrested by the Carentanian government!" said Supreme Chancellor Faust in a press conference today.

"Freiheit has been getting a lot of political pressure to release the Otchi, however many believe that this is only becuase the other nations have no idea what the Otchi are like. The truth is that the world would be better off without them. It is also a fact that the government is against any action that would give those little war mongerers any land that they can plan further attacks on Freiheit from." said Defence Minister Bastian Hofheim during the same Press Conference.

We strongly condemn such racist view of the Otchi people by the Defense Minister. Saying that "the world would be better off without them" is extremely worrisome and we hope Freiheit does not think it can get away with such acts just because of the actions taken by Carentanian government.

Furthermore, while we do not approve of the Carentanian actions, we strongly suggest a solution is reached through the diplomatic channels as force against a Southern nation will be looked down upon by us and we will take any measurements deem necessary.

The truly criminal act here is the abuse of human rights which that the Freiheitian government is engaging in, deeds which could rapidly adopt a genocidal scale and nature.

While we cannot tolerate the diplomatic actions of the Red State of Carentania, and have made that clear in recent diplomatic messages and actions, the rapidly degenerating situation in the Germanic Freedom State of Freiheit involving the Otchi peoples is also intolerable.

Clearly, the Freiheit people and Otchi people cannot live together without bloodshed, though we believe the reasons why cannot solely be pinned on the Otchi, as the Germanic Freedom State seems to imply. Therefore, if no other solution can be found, before the situation can get any worse the Holy Tiburan Empire offers itself as a possible destination for the Otchi should all else fail. While this is not a preferred solution, and we must stress again that other avenues must be explored, we cannot allow the Otchi race to be in any further danger of being wiped out.

We must also inform the Germanic Freedom State that, barring this possible deportation of the Otchi to the Holy Tiburan Empire, our diplomatic and economic relations will undergo a stern review, especially considering the recent rhetoric of many high officials in Freiheit.

Meeting Underway!

The meeting that will decide the fate of the Otchi race is currently underway in Christoph Denever's Lake Moraine estate. While there seems to be a split between the officails on what the best plan of action, Supreme Chancellor Faust assured Freiheit that the meeting will remain civil.

"Bigotry is something that unforunatley is very popular in Freiheit. So popular that it has even found its way into our government. I am currently undecided and completely neutral on what is to be done. I do not appreciate many countries forceful attidues, but I do appreciate the few who are trying to be cooperative and helpful."

City Aflame in Nuclear Fire!

The most devasting atrocity in all of Freiheitian history has just occured. Nuclear explosions of epic proportions detonated in the city of Freistadt.

The current casualtie count in Freistadt is just over 1 million, but the death toll continues to grow. Thankfully the government was all well away from the apocaliptic explosion. However, the government is refusing to make any statment regarding this explosion, other than claiming that Freiheit will take vengence on whoever is responsible for the event. The Freiheitian navy will begin to scour the waters around the Implarian for anything that could give clues to the culprits.

Military recruitment numbers are soaring around the country, as Freiheit prepares to enact revenge on which ever country was responsible for this massacre. The Intelligence Ministry is working round the clock looking at satellite images, looking for anything in and around the country within the past 24 hours that could point to the people responsible.

So far it is believed that missiles were fired from submarines somewhere in the Implarian. Whether the subs were the ones firing the nukes, or if the missiles merely hit nuclear weapons inside Freistadt is yet to be released by the government.

Otchi Released!

Now that this new problem has develpoed the Otchi have been released, and Supreme Chancellor Faust offers them an independent country if they aid the Freiheitian military.

OOC: I'll go ahead and ask that we clean all this up as soon as I'm done, but there's a small chance that I could have set his nukes off- if they were the old "bullet" ignition devices. If they were more modern affairs, they were turned to dust- but didn't detonate.

OOC: They were made in like the early 70's... their pretty old. A few of them were made to be dropped out of planes... the ones under my city were the ones that were supposed to be dropped by planes. So they would have definetly went off.

OOC: There was only one nuclear explosion in Freistadt, I edited the newspost to make it so this was a fact. The other nuclear weapons were merely 'destroyed' without any explosions.

Though there are no words to describe the outrage of the Anglysh people over this horrendous incident and our prayers go out to all those innocents, as well as to their families and friends, that lost their lives or will suffer from the after-effects that such weapons produce. The idea of nuclear weapons being use in an attack on Freiheit has HM Government greatly concerned and any information gathered by our intel will be studied and pertinent information will be made available.

Though HM Government will be in contact so as to coordinate humanitarian aid, the following statement is quite troubling;

This is statement is of great concern to HM Governemt as the Freiheit government had assured the world that all nuclear devices had been sent to the Commandry for disposal. If one was overlooked, it is a very worrisome to think of how many more may have been overlooked.
