First Edition of the Golden Raven Music Festival
Held at the Arenele Tiburane Dara

Dear European music enthusiasts, a warm welcome on behalf the Televiziunea Națională Altaică and the Altaic people where we want to invite you to the First edition of the Golden Raven Music Festival. We invite you all in Dara the next weekend where some of the best singers of the world would compete and try to win the Golden Raven.

The idea of the Festival belongs to the Ministry of Culture. Our mission is to try to make people for at least few days to forget of their hardships now in the ending stages of the Second Great War. We will try to create an entertainment show that would achieve its mission if there would be viewers from around the globe that would turn their eyes to Dara and would listen to the performances relaxed without the stress of what the next day would bring them.

Before we start, all countries are asked to submit one contribution, either a group or a single performer to participate in the music competition. The deadline for submissions is April 1st and the show will begin henceafter.

Submissions:
Havenshire::
Altai::
Breotonia::
Chryse::
Nicosia::

OOC:
1.Tell me if the deadline is too soon. I will change it.
2.You will only have to write the links to the songs and I will add them to the list in the pattern- Nation name-Name of the band/Singer-Song.
3.Every country will come to Dara with 10 juries that will vote the song that they consider the best.

OOC: Any restrictions on genre/content?

Its probably best, due to matters of taste, to specify genres.

I suggest confining it to Rock/Pop, since those genre have the most global penetration, whereas genres like Calypso, Tuvan Throat Singing, Heavy Metal, Rap, etc., tend to be very regional and have comparitively niche tastes. Unless you want to encourage that sort of diversity.

OOC: Yes, Rock and Pop are genders that I had in mind and speaking of diversity, It would be interesting if some of the participants would find songs in the languages that they use in their nations, not only english.

The People's Republic of Havenshire has chosen the popular up-and-coming rock band "Orpheus Risen", and its song "Fighting Man" to represent it at the Golden Raven Festival. The song was created specifically to celebrate the People's Liberation Army and the spirit of resistance and struggle within not just individuals, but also material dialecticism.

Televiziunea Națională Altaică has chosen the rock band Voltaj to represent Altai in the festival. Through their songs we hope to make the Altaic music more popular to foreigners.

OOC: I want to post some Folk music. :(

I guess I could just find some music from the secondary languages of Boliatur, but I don't think there's any Mongolian rock or Turkish rock.

After the Nicosian band, The Beangrowers ended their representation, Vera Chadov a popular TV presenter wearing a bright red evening dress, went on the stage:
"Good Evening Dara! What a show we had tonight! Great band from all over the world played their best songs at the Arenele Tiburane but only one will win the Golden Raven. Now, while the Juries decide and choose their best songs, I will present to you viewers again the rules of the competition:
On my right, are the juries that came with each band. Every jury is made of 10 people that will individually choose the best song from the ones that was played, they cannot score the country they come from. There is a total of 10 points that will be given.
Now, dear viewers, let's wish everyone good luck! We'll be back after a break."
