Our two nations have differences, but we share cultural and historical ties, our economies already freely intertwine in many ways and through a number of treaties.

[/div]Sacîl, both militarily and economically important due to its location at the crossroads of Friuli, Bourgogne and Lars, hosted a variety of historical buildings belonging to ancient noble families or important merchants, as well as residences for the clergy belonging to the patriarchate. it also housed the eastern command center of the Friulian armed forces.

[/div]The location for the intergovernmental meeting had been offered by the Grand Duke, who owned a small villa in the city "palaç Bilie" which overlooked one of the small rivers that crossed Sacîl but also offered a small internal courtyard where the participants could have stayed safely.

After a quick reception with adequate honours and some handshake exchanges, the Lars delegation was accompanied inside the villa, in a room decorated with frescoes and overlooking the river. in the center of the room there was a square composed of four rectangular tables, with chairs on the outer sides and some plants in the middle.

In the Friulian delegation there were:
Confenonîr (primo ministro) Cosàn Bernars, of the ruling Vuaite party;
Cortesàne Contesse Agnês Massàn di Villeçare, member of the Vuaite party with personal ties with the Grand Duke;
Cortesan cont Giuan-Vieri Baviêr di Plaitòn, count over the very town of Sacîl and main shareholder of the Baviêr Tramais company, of the troubled Bondance company and an important shareholder of Futiçe Eletriçamarîrs;
Siôr Eduârt Futiçe, President of Futiçe Eletriçamarîrs and main shareholder thereof;
Siôr Laurentzi Otâf, representative of the Ançeplane Credit Union, main shareholder of the Ğavis di Ançeplane, the main ore extraction company of Furlanìe;
Siore Quintine Rôs, managing director of G&T Cantîrs, company that owned the Tergest shipyards;
Siôr Gjacìnt Clement Mercîr, president of Mercîr, owner of the two average-sized steel production plants of Furlanìe.

The Countess Agnês was the first to speak, and presented the Friulian delegation to the Larsians, it was clear she was the Friulian leader, not for her importance in the government or the economy, but for her known friendly relation with the Grand Duke.
She spoke in Friulian and was translated by the staff that was standing behind both delegations.

For the representatives of the Grand Duchy of Lars there were the Prime Minister, Tusca Larci and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Folco Cuneo. Both, like the entire diplomatic staff, preferred to speak in English, the language of diplomacy, while exchanges of opinion could be heard in Tiburano between them.

In the government entourage, there were also some men representing the economic strength of the counrty. Their number was well below the counterpart, only two. Cantini Bergamaschi, representative for the Breda Rail Lars Group and Franco Dolmiti, representative of the Blue Sea. Two international giants for the Euromark number moved and customers.
