From Fresh to Frozen

Hutopa is the world's second largest fishing consortium, comprised of 4 companies spread in 11 different countries. With nearly 4,000 employees, Hutopa operates fishing fleets and processing centers. Interestingly, it has earned numerous awards for its strict adherence to environmental laws. With more than 85 fishing vessels it sells over 90,000 tons of fish products sold yearly in the global economy.

It is currently headquartered in Ajaccio, Nicosia despite having more international employees than domestic. From 1961 to 1984, Hutopa was the world's largest fishing company.

We are seeking investment for the creation of 2 new processing centers overseas. I investors will gain a 15% stake in Hutopa and a seat on the board of directors with senior voting privileges.

Numerous investors have expressed interests in financing the creation of a Hutopan processing center in Yujin, and we share the belief that the establishment of such a service would help increase the income of domestic fisherman who sell their catch to the processing center, as well as diversify products for local and regional consumers. If Hutopa is interested, we will notify investors and begin establishing contracts for materials.

The board is deeply interested in this proposal. Hutopa must state that the company stresses the importance of environmental standards and the protection of endangered species of marine wildlife. Other than that, Hutopa expects that the processing centers would be staffed almost completely by locals. Only 3 Nicosians would be employed in each facility. If the investors are still interested with this additional information, Hutopa is happy to begin negotiations.
