Hello everyone!
I am new here so if I'm doing anything not allowed (like posting in the wrong place or something) just tell me.
Anyways, I love drawing maps. And I own software which lets me draw maps for cities, countries, continents.. etc etc and I love it. And also I want more practice.

Yeah so if you're okay with this 'look', please post a description of your country (or better yet some form of crude sketch) along with names and locations you would like, and I'll bang up a map for you!

The software is called 'Campaign Cartographer 3'. I have an old D&D group and we used this software to make the maps for our countries, cities and dungeons. The program is actually for D&D games that why its very RPG game-like!

No offense taken Danmark I know that look isn't for everybody. Here, I had a go at a more standard looking map, see if it's anything like your style:

Are you able to take the outline of any country here? Say, something small at first, like are you able to take the entire outline of Monterrey as presented on the current map?

CC3 actually has add ons (I've been wanting to buy Cosmographer myself in order to do spaceship deck layouts, but shelling out the extra cash is a painful deterrent) The Fractal Terrains addon is particularly appealing for modern maps, while the Modern Symbol Set would allow you to lose the medieval look and do very nice modern maps. But, even the modern symbol set is a good $20.

If you want any landscaping (mountains, rivers and/or forest) or city markers just ask.

@Yujin Wow that map is lookin' real good.
I like the fantasy look myself, but maybe I can use the CC3 I already have (I have a few add-ons on mine) to try and practice that style.
If I get any headway at making very nice modern maps I'll post another example map of Ivernia showing the other optional look.

I felt that with my map spot defined I needed to update the 'ol map.
This one is nice and clear so everyone can see the layout of Ivernia.
Also I found a great way of copying the outline of land/countries almost perfectly so that's great too.

If anyone would like a version of this new look for their own country feel free to ask me.

I used the same software I had before: Campaign Cartographer 3. I just fiddled around with it so instead of the 'fantasy look' I had a nice clear map.

I think I'm preferring this look myself.
