Allegations of an "aggressive" Carentanian foreign policy are deeply malicious misinformations. Carentanias policy throughout Europe is one of defense: defense of revolutionary achievements, defense of its allies and defense against Imperialism. Potenza will be hard pressed to find any case where Carentania acted to the contrary.
Our mission in Yujin is one of defense against Imperial Yu aggression - a state which has murdered millions of Vangalans without provocation and demands the right to massacre entire cities as precondition for peace.
Our mission in Solaren was one of defense against Pope Urbans belligerence - and currently we pursue a policy of restoring sovereignity to the Solaren people. Carentania has even begun to withdraw first contingents of its troops from Solaren, despite continued signals from both Eiffelland and Potenza that neither state is willing to respect the Solaren peoples wish for a socialist constitution.
Our mission to antarctica is, again, a defensive measure - a defense of the rights of all of Europe to peaceful scientific research on the continent, which was illegally claimed as sole territory by two states in a move that was thoroughly imperialist.
If Potenza is wondering as to why Carentania feels it should re-evaluate its policies towards capitalist powers and feels no need to answer to boastful Monarchies, perhaps it must search the answer in its own accusations repeatedly levelled against the Workers' Republic.
We would advise the Carentanian foreign affairs commisariate to understand the difference between the opinions of a newspaper and an independent think tank versus the official policies of a government. We would certainly agree that editorials and articles reflect the opinions of the people in Potenza, but these can be responded to with assurances that Carentania's intents and actions are peaceful. On this note, we would also like to have the Foreign Affairs Commissar answer the questions lodged to him by by both the foreign affairs ministry and the Northern Council. His continual refusal to answer them creates a certain level of mistrust.
We also want to make clear that we have serious doubts that the majority of the Solaris wish for a socialist constitution. In our occupational zone, the majority of the people, though wishing for social justice, does not wish for a socialist constitution. We re-iterate that elections will have to proove whether the Solaris want to go for socialism or something else.
