The Right Honourable The Secretary of State has received the Command of Her Engellexic Majesty The Queen to make known the following gracious Statement of Her Engellexic Majesty to the Lord-Protector of the Constitutional State of Touzen.
Extension of The Queen's Statement in Council.
TO THE LORD-PROTECTOR OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL STATE OF TOUZEN
I am instructed to DELIVER on behalf of her Engellexic Majesty;
I have very little belief that I should be able to add anything to your knowledge or information on the subject, which I hope we shall be persuaded to meet to discuss following your invitation to concerning parties, and I know very well that an intelligent and educated gentleman, such as that I have the honour of addressing, requires no teaching or guidance from myself as to the course which Touzen ought to take on a great political issue such as that which is now before us. But the reason why I have addressed this communiqué to yourself is one which I will endeavour to ensure, those who think with democratic ideals on this subject who attach the greatest possible importance to the creation, and not only to the creation, but to the expression of independent thought and opinion of the Implaric Oceanic Territories, shall be held in such respect among us as to consider their actions a noble service to the region.
What I must earnestly implore is that, as I hope may not be necessary, the Commonwealth of Cantigny is afforded calm consideration of all her bearings on this subject. The Commonwealth and the Chancellor shall make themselves thoroughly responsible for the atrocious acts committed to foreign nationals of late, by the assurance of independent investigation into the crime by the excellent law enforcement institutions of the country, and that it shall not be in the interests of ourselves of our successors to betray our trust in the Commonwealth.
I find the recent actions of the European Defence Federation to capitalize on the crime, and be presumptuous in their judgement of the subject, most disagreeable to regional and international peace and prosperity. It must not be permitted to observe their impertinent decrees dissolve the association between the States of the Accord.
