SUBJECT: ON THE MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL MARITIME INTEGRITY

1. Given that the EDF has noted significant dissatisfaction with the recent extension of our claimed naval territories, we have rescinded previous orders to deter all extranational traffic through the 50 nautical mile zone.

2. We hereby order all naval vessels and aircraft to monitor all civilian and military traffic closely. It is of paramount importance that we maintain our stance and ensure no subversize agents from either the EDF or RDTO are allowed to infiltrate into Padania.

3. The use of deadly force has been authorized to ensure the integrity of the new 12 nmi exclusion zone, all vessels are to proceed accordingly. Foreign provocation will not be tolerated.

4. Escorts are to shadow all traffic within the 50 nmi zone, with intent to disrupt and impede speedy travel through the zone. The use of force is not authorized, however the conducting of naval routines and drills should be utilized to hinder the course of travel.

5. The use of deadly force has been authorized to ensure the integrity of the 50 mile exclusion zone in the event that Coronadan or Carentanian vessels are encountered. Belmontien vessels to be notified of imminent fire and delivered warning shots; orders to sink should vessels continue course.

SUBJECT: SUSPECTED INCREASE IN SEDITIOUS ACTIVITY

1. Domestic operatives and informants have suggested an increase in potential seditious activity, particularly within the municipalities of Lucca and Ameglia. Informants suggest activities may be tied to Communist groups.

2. Fronte Popolare Padania (FPP) likely culprit. SIN operatives investigating, we expect maximum assistance from Army personnel.

3. Previous investigations into FPP activity have tied source of fundings to Danziger banks. Likely supported by outside parties, do not investigate.

4. Any information believed to lead to the capture of a FPP cell or agent is to be immediately relayed to SIN and CN, do not pursue leads.

5. In addition to intelligence work, Esercito Nazionale is expected to increase security in high profile areas throughout Lucca and Ameglia as a precautionary and deterrent measure.
