The International Commission on Decolonisation is a global body dedicated to achieving independence for all colonised territories and peoples by diplomatic means. Established after the 1954 Nkalamenga Conference on the Decolonisation of Himyar, the Commission itself is now hosted in the Cathiopian capital city, where its work continues to be focused on the continent of Himyar, although it stands for the right to self-determination everywhere.

In order to become a member-state of the International Commission on Decolonisation, nations must sign and ratify the Nkalamenga Declaration of Support for Decolonisation of Himyar, a charter in which governments pledge material, financial and political assistance to the cause of Himyari independence.

ANNOUNCEMENT ++ FOR INTERNATIONAL RELEASE

The International Commission on Decolonisation is appealing to the international community of charitable and voluntary organisations to commit to humanitarian works in the Republic of the Eastern Cape.

The Republic of the Eastern Cape is recovering from a brutal war, with thousands of civilians displaced and in need of basic necessities such as food, water and shelter.

Volunteers from a number of organisations have already started to arrive, and professionals directly employed by the International Commission on Decolonisation itself have already begun the rebuilding process.

But recent disturbances in the Eastern Cape have made the situation more desperate than ever, and we need YOUR help to give the people of the Eastern Cape the future they deserve.
