The Ionian Ethnarch was busy with his meeting with the Portusgalian Ambassador. That however was not reason enough to neglect his meeting with Keven Anderson, Suionia's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Demetrios himself wouldn't trust such an important meeting to anyone else but Aristotle Filanthropos Kifisodotou, the Ionian Minister of Foreign Affairs himself. Aristotle himself was anxious about the meeting though he was at least happy that he would bet to see an old friend. He was waiting for Keven Anderson, the Suionian Minister of Foreign Affairs in his Office at the Ionian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (

Keven: Oh, I did not think I'd see this land again.. even more as an.. it's organized.. but tell me, how is the economy going after change here in Ionia?

Aristotle: Better than ever my friend! We have the largest fleet in the world once again, our currency's value is steadily rising and we export goods in massive quantities. How are things on your end, if I may?

Keven: Are not so good as well.. Our fleet continues large, since we ourselves manufacture the equipment.. But we are trying to "clean up the mess" since the Catastrophe, so we need your help more than ever now ... since that various nations have forgotten us..

Aristotle: I was referring to our mercantile fleet, but our fleet is among the world's 5 best and largest. I actually wanted to talk to you about that; you see my government is thinking of giving you a large sum of money to help you pay off your debts and help you modernize your military by giving you warships and equipment for free. You see we are in the process of modernizing our fleet. Once we're done we won't need our old ships anymore. They may be old by our standards but by those of others they are still considered up to date if not advanced. In short we'll be giving you a fleet and a lot of weapons, vehicles, aircraft and equipment for free.

Keven: No, our fleet is not exceeded, two years ago we were an emerging economy .. I was not referring to this kind of help, I refer to an opening gates between our nations, international industries, companies from Ionia to Suionia and from Suionia to Ionia..

Aristotle: Hmm, I planned to tell you about that later but it seems you're always a step ahead. I was thinking of an interesting trade agreement between our nations. You see Ionia is midway between Suionia and the colonies. To that extent we could lower the tax duties of eachother's ships and products to encourage trade between our nations and promote eachother's products in our markets. After all each of us has things the other one doesn't have.

Keven: I accept that part well, but the sum of money, we can not accept .. I think that the ideal path is opening a trade and lower rates..
