Unprecedented destruction, countless deaths, many lives lost and much more money wasted. This is the current situation of the war in Milesia. When we look at the lives and material lost, the borders make no sense anymore. The province of Milesia has been a battleground for nearly two years and has attracted with it death, famine and disease. We all know how winters are in Oriental Scania and how hard it is to survive one, if you don't prepare. Ivernia has already passed through a series of rationalizations last year and it seems that this winter will be no different. Saaremaa, especially the Lounamaad region has been flooded with Ivernians that were running from the face of the Imperial army at the beginning of the conflict and afterwards from the face of the Communist militias. This has brought a demographic crisis and an economical one too, that contributed to the imminent economic collapse that brought the Internal Settlement as a salvation. This war has scarred all our peoples: Saare, Ivernian Milesian, Kadiki. The time has come to end it.
For this, the government of Saaremaa wishes to invite representatives of Ivernia, Milesia and Kadikistan to meet in Kuressaare and discuss the possibilities of ending the conflict once and for all. The city of Kuressaare would provide the best place for such a high level meeting as it provides the invitees with security but also with a sense of reality as the city is one which attracted the most of the Milesian refugees. It has become an symbol for the Ivernians that wish to escape the war and for that, we want to also have it a symbol of the end of the war.
