Caudillo Ramon Ignacio Reyes makes public appearance at Military Academy.

The Caudillo has made a rare public appearance today at the Gustavo Munez military academy to congratulate the latest batch of graduates as they begin their service in the armed forces. This is the first public appearance the Caudillo has made since his surgery and he was seen by all to be in excellent health.Also in attendance was Jefe Legionario Antonio Calvera-Vasquez commander of the Legión Nacional and several other leading UNI party members.


A bridge between nations?

The government of Entre Rios is apparently considering the construction of a second bridge between the Tapanega Republic and the Confederation of Entre Rios. Such an endeavor would be a significant boost to the entire economy of the entire region and usher in greater freedom of trade and movement between the Free State, Entre Rios and Tapanega.

Christmas approaches. A UNI party rally has been planned for Christmas eve in Rio Bravo in which an estimated 40,000 will be in attendance.
Sport. Miguel Rosales has beaten Samuel Tova in the fifth round by knockout to claim the championship belt.
Culture. The Founder a mini-series detailing the life and times of Gustavo Munez the founder of the Unión Nacional Integralista and creator of the Integralist ideology will premiere this evening on Channel one. The Founder features the very best of the Free States acting talent and has shown to the Caudillo in a private viewing and been given his ringing endorsement.

Caudillo meets with Paramount Chiefs

The Caudillo has traveled to the province of Tierra del Sol to meet with the leaders of the Llanero tribes. The Caudillo was welcomed onto the site of the signing of the historic treaty of Llano Estacado in which the Llanero tribes formally surrendered to the Free State and accepted the region's annexation. The Caudillo was greeted by Chiefs Mupitsukupʉ and Huupi-pahati,the Caudillo reaffirmed the Unión Nacional Integralista's commitment to the Llanero people and the paid homage to the thousands of Llanero currently serving within the Free State's armed forces. In addition to his own personal bodyguard the Caudillo was also attended by members of the Legión Nacional's Leal Llanero Division as a symbol of the importance of the Llanero people to the society of the Free State.


Brazul-Pohjanmaa relations worsen

Following the arrest of Post-Delegationist agitators in Brazul the nation of Pohjanmaa have resorted to petty insults. Foreign Minister Mendoza has stated " These foreigners and their ridiculous ideologies have no place in Occidentian affairs and should stay in the frozen wastes of their homeland". The Foreign Minister later clarified that his statement mentioning the friendship between the Vaquero Free State and The Kingdom of Virumaa.

Unión Nacional Integralista rally draws in record numbers. Caudillo wishes nation " Merry Christmas".

Close to 50,000 UNI party members attended the Party's Christmas rally nearly 10,000 more then expected, with the Caudillo speaking about the year that has been and the many triumphs of the Party and the Free State and the bright future that awaits us all. Other speakers included Jefe Legionario Antonio Calvera-Vasquez, Trade Minister Manuel Braza and Cardinal Ramirez. The Caudillo spoke at length at about the state of the world and how thanks to the Integralist ideology the Free State will endure.

Christmas Food-banks see record numbers. Increasing numbers of our citizens are looking to food-banks in these trying times,but rest assured the current economic downturn is purely temporary say a UNI party spokesman.

Crime. In response to news of illegal timber smuggling in Tapenaga the Police Minster Luis Ubico has stated " We in the Free State are adamant that no such illegal material has made its way through our borders".

Culture. The critically acclaimed miniseries The Founder's finale will air tonight.

Trade Minister unveils bold new economic plan

Trade Minister Manuel Braza has announced the creation of a "special economic district" within the province of Costa Angeles. " Costa Angeles has long been Occidentia's gateway to the world and as such it makes perfect sense for the province to become the first of the Free State's special economic districts which will be exempt from much of the tariffs and regulations present in the rest of the nation. Trade Minister Braza went on to say how these economic districts will revitalize the economy and encourage foreign investment and capital, and should the project in Costa Angeles prove successful then more special economic districts may be set up in other provinces.

The Caudillo is dead!
At 6.00am this morning our Caudillo Ramon Ignacio Reyes breathed his last and has gone to his just reward. Despite battling poor health for some time he continued to lead our fair nation as he has many years turning the free state from a rural backwater to a great power in Occidentia. A period of mourning has been declared by Jefe Legionario Antonio Calvera-Vasquez who has graciously stepped in to assume the role of acting president until the Unión Nacional Integralista convenes a emergency congress in the next few weeks. Already thousands are flocking to the streets to express their grief at the passing of such a truly great man.

Esteemed colleagues and friends,

The people and government of the Federal Republic of Entre Rios are heartbroken as they heard about the passing of the wise leader of our neighbouring and brotherly people, Caudillo Ramon Ignacio Reyes. We hope that the Vaquero people stands strong and steadfast in the defence of Aurarian and Christian values that made them such a respectable people and made the Aurosphere of the Western Hemisphere a bastion of civilisation and faith.

The flags of the Entrerriano embassy in Rio Bravo will fly at half masts for a week in solidarity with the mourning period of the Vaquero, as we ourselves feel that we have lost a great friend and a teacher. We request the Jefe Legionario Antonio Calvera-Vasquez and the Union Nacional Integralista to come together in a show of solidarity to the peoples of the world and that the teachings of the late Caudillo Reyes are continued by the posterity.
