This letter is directed to Taoiseach Airgetlám, and the Minister of War,
Sir,

May this message meet you in times of victory for our beloved King.

We suspect that after so many rebel losses, prisons in green Ivernia must be overflowing. Your erstwhile colony, the Commonwealth of Morland, is experiencing a labor shortage, and using ethnic Himyari in certain trades would be difficult or unsuitable. If our suspicions are true, we would like to request an opportunity for those traitorous prisoners of war to be shipped to Morland for penal labor. They will be put to work digging out more reservoirs, building roads and houses, or put in the mines to increase our diamond and gold production capacity.

If you would require a manpower contribution from the Morland garrison to the High Kingdom's front lines in return, then we would be honored to contribute as much as we can.

Signed,

Sir Normund Helleren, TM

Ivernish Imperial Office of Colonial Affairs and Internal Trade
8ú Márta 1956

Greetings, our esteemed delegates and colleagues from Mørlanden, we are pleased to hear from our Southern Norse Gaels, who so bravely and nobly work, steadfast, in a land so harsh and unforgiving in the great name of the Celtic World Expedition. Your efforts, and the Efforts of our Colonial Department combined we shall continue the legacy of our forefathers, Ivernish Gaelic and Norse Gaelic alike, in the progress of our Global Colonial Empire.

Indeed, we are most sorry to say that the Ivernish Crisis has managed to escalate into an episode of warfare and strife that divides the Gaels, and causes misfortune across the Home Nations. The impact on our collective Fatherland has undoubtedly spread across the Ivernish Imperial Dominion. Which is why we are so pleased to hear of ingenuity and ambitious project put forward by the industrious and great thinkers of our Good and Gracious Mørlanden Lands. As you have correctly observed the Judicial System of the Fatherland is overwhelmed with a backlog of processing Traitors. Such a program you have proposed, when well put together could indeed prove a pressure release on the Ivernish prisons. By putting these Traitors to good, honest hard work in a land far from war they might find a new lease on life. Indeed, they may even find themselves on a road to rehabilitation through work in the colonies, in new lands to occupy their minds and bodies for the rest of their sentence, and perhaps even for the rest of their days. We shall organise with the Ministry of Justice of Ivernia and also the Judiciary system of Mørlanden in order to create such a rehabilitation system for these Former-Republican Traitors. Hopefully by the end of 1956 we may have a sizable, but not too sizable, working colony of labourers to help the Mørlanden Colony grow and prosper.

Rowan Mac Darragh, Minister of Colonial Affairs and Internal Trade

OOC: A buildup to this telegraph is described in this post:
---

TELEGRAPH: 3 MARCH 1956

It is an honor, Minister, to hear that your office is fond of the proposition. We would do our utmost to turn traitors into proper Ivernish once again, by the swing of the shovel, the thrust of the drill or the felling of trees covered with termites and spiders. May the gems of Morland continue to endow the Crown and the Fatherland together.

I should say we may be needing that manpower by the end of summer indeed, as unexpected events have made things quite the mess down here...

Allow us, please, to know any further developments in the conflict with the Republican degenerates.

Signed,

Sir Normund Helleren, TM
