The Grand Duchy will not tolerate slander and assumptions made by foreign governments. No Potenzan ships are heading to Bogan shores, we have simply mobilized should these rogue ships draw to our own shores. Potenza is permitted to prepare a defense against potential enemies.

Government forces vow to retake Fulcroix; Republican transitional government established
Following a bloody battle in and around the port city of Fulcroix, government forces last week were forced to retreat to nearby towns and villages in an effort to regroup with larger government forces and prepare for a coordinated assault on the city proper in the coming days. Word has now reached our affiliate office in Fulcroix that operations to retake the city for the Government has officially begun. Although there is no word yet as to the number of troops and vehicles being used by either side, it is estimated to be in the thousands for both sides. Workers, and whole militia and army garrisons have defected to the republican rebels since the beginning of the revolt in mid July. Although as of yet, there is no one state recognizing the self styled "Republic of Bogan", at least one foreign nation has shipped supplies into the captured port. Reports from government recon submarines estimate the number of foreign ships to be at least four.
The newly formed government of the republic has stated it welcomes any and all help in it's struggle against fascism.

Rebel bombing leaves Vice President, Defense Minister and State Security Chief dead
As the shelling in Southern Bogan cojntinues this evening, reports are now coming in from the capital of a bombing that took place near the presidential compound in Banefort, in the eastern quarters. Although the blast was very large in it's magnitude, it was apparent from the moment it took place that the target was the Banefort Conference Committee's follow up to the recent Sikandaran visit last month. Although no foreign nationals had been invited, the top military and political leadership had met at the capital to discuss the overtures made during that visit. It is believed that the Vice President, Jacobin Durrant, the Chief of the Secret Police or the Bogan State Security Agency, Alex Dubois and the Defense Minister, Jean-Luc Domin are among the dead.
