Your Excellencies,

As you are aware the security situation in Loago has quickly deteriorated. There are significant business assets in Loago owned by New Cathayan corporations and individuals. NCEF has procured the services of various security firms to enter Loago and protect mines, industrial farms and other large ventures from hostile aggression.

Loago is quite far from New Cathay. Although our Sky Force has the capability for direct flights, it would be more efficient and safer if we had a forward logistics operating base from which we could stage deliveries of personnel and equipment.

We therefore request our Natalian friends, trading partners for decades, to permit our use of one of your airbases or airports where we can stage logistics operations. This would entail the arrival and departure of numerous NCEF Sky Force unarmed transport aircraft as well as chartered Cathay Pacific Airways passenger jets. Short term warehousing for equipment and short term overnight stays and services for personnel would also be acquired. Naturally we shall pay landing fees and market rates for refuelling and accommodation, although a friendship discount would be most appreciated.

We eagerly await your reply as we hope to commence operations on the double.

Always at your service,

Robert S. Riverdale

The Federation of the Natal

Esteemed Sirs,

The Federation of the Natal is equally concerned of what is happening in Echidna, as it has always been a part of the world where militantism, activism, filibusterism, and adventurism are at their home. The lack of civilisation and the flow of high grade weaponry truly shows the world how hostile humans are to each other.

Of course we stand by our New Cathayan friends in their quest to defend their properties from the happenings in Loago, as we too have our own investments in the region which need to be protected too. We will be ready to help the Republic of New Cathay in this endeavour so we will be able to rent parts of the Andrew Bowman Military Airport, 10 miles north of Blackmere, the capital city of the Upper Natal Republic, situated along the eastern coast of the Northcott Channel.

Alongside the rent for the accommodation facilities, the warehouses, the use of the runway and airport control facilities, the Federation will have a special request, that is to transport 300 Natalian private security guards to the Loagan town of Bulawayo, in the Wafante.

We hope that those discussions will reach a positive outcome and that both ourselves and the Loagan people can enjoy the fruits of solidarity and collaboration.

Signed
on behalf of the Folk and the State President,
Ryan Mopantokobogo
State Secretary of the Federation

Your Excellencies,

Many thanks for your generous accommodations. We will begin despatching our personnel immediately. Please expect the first NCEF Sky Force aircraft to arrive within 12 hours.

Naturally we are more than happy to transport the 300 men to Bulawayo. They can all fit on one of our , although it will be tight since they are designed for 291 passengers, but 300 should be fine.

We wish to continue to keep this open channel of communication open and flexible. As you will have no doubt recently heard, Maseru airport is no longer considered safe and developments are rapidly occurring in Loago. It soon may be the case that security in the country completely breaks down and more drastic measures may be needed. The NCEF is a proud, modern and capable fighting force, but it is not too large. We may need the help of our friends in Natalia in the near future.

Our military attaché in Camp Hill will continue to brief his counterparts in case closer cooperation becomes a necessity.

Please have the 300 men and their equipment at Andrew Bowman ready for departure within 14 hours from now. They will be one of the first flights out to Loago once the Lovebird has been refuelled.

Always at your service,

Sir Robert S. Riverdale
Minister of Overseas Affairs
