To the attention of the Governments of all Nations near or on the coastline of the Long Sea and to all nations interested in the recent events,
Your Excellencies,
The Ionian Confederacy has seen that the recent events in the Long Sea, whether they may be the founding to the Long Sea Mutual Defence Treaty or the recent crisis between the nations of said treaty and the Arretine Empire, have caused great concern among the governments and peoples of Europe.
Thus we would like to humbly invite you to the Ionian Capital City, Ithinai, or any other City of your choice, to discuss these recent events and find a peaceful, universally satisfying and unanimously accepted solution to the matter. Instead of simply voicing the same concerns or arguments in Diplomatic Statements we could really sit down and discuss all topics of concern, even taboo ones, to actually have a hope of resolving this issue.
This idea is based on the need for diplomatic discussion expressed in the statements of the [MENTION=1661]Eternal Empire[/MENTION] and thus we strongly encourage all nations, whether in favor of this summit or against to at least take part and honor us with their presence. For peace to be achieved we need cooperation, dialogue and work and these require and joint platform of discussion, even if it may be temporary.
This Summit will not serve as a permanent international body but simply as a forum to resolve this crisis.
