I want to note that the Patois Republic is tied up in RP. You can assume the role it had in RP, otherwise it likely gets greened or re-joined into Bourdignie.

I'm fine assuming its role, it probably fits with the narrative of Neustria being a nationalistic country. Thanks for the heads up.

It assumes more than just that, you then had to have an agreement with your neighbors (me & Tarusa), and not all of the areas of the Patois Republic are Francophone, in-fact, much of it is German speaking and this was agreed upon because...

A.) I couldn't afford to go to war with Tarusa and the HFE, but also...

B.) I could count on the HFE as a reasonable partner able to accept the rights of German speakers...

C.) I entered into alliance with the HFE...

So this is quite a bit more complicated than just history. If you'd like we can open a separate thread for this and discuss things at a bit more length, but also it bears saying because you cannot change the names of things there as well. For better or worse, they remain as is to respect the history and the current national divisions.

(Which is why I am open to just greening it (or absorbing it) if you don't want to deal with the headache as well. Whichever you prefer as I can understand you might want to just begin without pre-history and strings attached)

Fair point I guess. If possible then, I would like to absorb it as clay and RP it as a historic region with certain special rights like Alsace-Lorraine in France, but without all the baggage of others’ RP, since I’m starting off as neutral.

If that’s not possible feel free to green it.

I think I asked only for the first island, to the east when I requested Ebria on the map, but I always imagined Hamrun to be like an archipelago, and if it's okay with everyone, I'd take those islands to the west too.

I would like to also apply for an extension in the immediate vicinity, seeing as there is somewhat of a pixels overhaul.

The area as circled here. The two bigger islands and the itsy bitsy dots below them.

Not the tiny islet right next to the Carian shoreline, that should stick to the rest of the spot.

I think we can even leave the cities as they are. I'll have Remuria transition softly from Tiburan culture in the west and centre into Propontine culture towards the east, to still somehow reflect some greekness around now that there's a void of it around the place where before there was lots of it.

So I am putting this claim in for Caelia. I am aware there is a conflict with an existing claim. I would like to request the mapmaker provide a ruling.

To be brief: I designed this claim to accommodate what I thought was Oltremare (Jose) claim in the former Pelagasia because it seemed like he was planning an RP with Touzen. But I later learned it conflicts with another part of Oltremare (Radilo) I was genuinely not aware was being claimed.

I request on priority on the grounds:
1. This is my primary and first spot, Oltremare encompasses quite a few different territories already
2. The area in question involves a strategic resource
3. The combined Radilo-Josepania Oltremare is currently claiming significant (in terms of area, strategic resources and IC historical interest) extra territories in former Pelagasia, which if granted still leaves them in a net gain

But a very rough take, would be @Oltremare does not take the islands around the former Justoria, those would go to @Hradreych . This would be the rough outline of Oltremare's territory in the former Pelasgia. Jose or myself will post a more detailed version later. I just wanted to make sure everyone is clear about what we discussed on discord.

I have a small discussion point. Do NOT modify anything yet though until the discussions have been solved.

I am intending to turn a narrow strip (±10 to 15 km wide (6 to 9 miles) and 150 to 200 km long (95 to 125 miles)) of my coastline opposite of Vrijpoort into an intertidal zone with tidal flats and wetlands, bordered on the sea side with a string of small islands (like 20 to 30 km long (12 to 20 miles) and maybe 2 or 3 km wide), like the

Now my question is: Is this something that has to be modified in the world map, taking the following into account:

1. The area will be under water during high tide, but dry during low tide.
2. The strip's narrowness given that I estimate the diameters of the blue encircled Ebrian islands to be approximately 40 to 50 km (25 to 30 miles).
3. The strip's length.

I can look into seeing how to do this (and perhaps on a later update), no promises as I'm not sure if it can be made to look appropriate with such a small area on the main map.

In the zeitgeist of the giant land grabs, I will personally add some some small Germanic colonies. They will be mysterious!

...and then in future updates I would like to make expansion claims more difficult. A subject that I will put up for discussion with the community as I think rampant expansion is starting to ruffle feathers and skew histories.

That is fair. But I think that some of this expansion is because there was a lot of stagnation then a huge reshuffling. Histories were so skewed that giving a nation more umph, if you will, will help maintain it. It gives more room for internal rps--there's more history to work with, because everything has to have a story. Plus this fills in some gaps.

Or I'm full of crap.

Either way, Oltremare or l will get those maps to you asap.
