Mazulan Government expresses support for Nouviergi

The National Parliament passed a bill today condemning attacks on Nouviergi by E'trangi in the tribes surrounding Mazula and Nouviergi. Mazula has also faced raids in the northern and western provinces from similar bands of thugs and mercenaries. The resolution offered military and diplomatic support to Nouviergi in their fight against the E'trangi. It is expected that the leaders of both dominions will meet shortly for a conference on the issue of hostile tribes.
New Horizons Engineering wins contract
The Mazulan firm New Horizons Engineering presented the best offer on a government contract to extend electrical infrastructure into the mostly rural northwest. Many developing cities had faced power shortages due to a lack of development in the area. The NHE bid was $6bn Francs to build a power line to the Manzikert region. Several contracts are still undergoing the bidding process.
Video game releases to record sales
A new video game by Quagmire Entertainment, An Empire Under the Stars, sold over 6 million copies on its opening weekend. The game allows players to control a nation through the 1800s in the age of industrialization and nationalism. Quagmire Entertainment has reported over 1,800,000,000 francs in revenue from early sales and expects another 2-3 million sales. The share price of Quagmire entertainment rose 15% on the news.
