It happens. Sometimes I get the urge to play, other times I don't. I'm just taking a break since MM is going in dry on me.
Then again, having a 53% Win-Rate tends to do that. XD

Yeah, the Japs are an odd one at that. I like the devastating guns and range, however it's weird to me. Currently on the Kongo, I love the high superstructure of Japanese ships.

We try to keep a certain form of ethnic clustering, you can see that in the map thread. But as long as you give some back-story about how these pretty different cultures became one nationstate I see no problem with it. German colonists in Touyou? Chinese colonists in Germania?

Coat of Arms, your national emblem. That's entirely up to you You can have postcard from your nation or an image from your nation with your flag as a transparent layer over it. You could even have an old poster for some product.

Well you could start by doing an internal RP. So you pretty much show the everyday working sof your government, how legislation and executive decisions are made, your reactions to foreign events, the daily lives of your people etc. You could also (once you apply for a map spot) start doing some diplomacy with nearby states and then with nations you think you're ideologically and economically compatible with across the world.

I tend to run my country as realistically as possible given my limited knowledge. Glad to be here in Europe, the actual closest continent in my fictional country.

Correct. Sadly many new people only stay for a short amount of time which gives the mapmakers headaches. 20 RP posts is considered enough commitment to warrant a mapspot.
