In the sunset of his years, the Lord Rigpa has spoken to me privately about his concern that the development of an axis between Franken and Oikawa will destroy the liberty of European peoples. The tentacles of Franken, we fear, reach into the heart of our nation.

It would be advisable to form a league of free nations under the umbrella of a Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). To make a strong statement about stopping the gradual re-absorption of Olmolungring into Franken, I call on you, my brothers and sisters, to gather your friends and allies and join me in Yungdrung Gutsak for a summit protesting the Council of Nations and exploring new paths of peaceful cooperation for the future.

SUBJ RE: Non-Aligned Summit
[STATUS: TOP SECRET]

Sir;

The People's Republic of Vangala shares your concerns about the disturbing new friendship between Franconia and Oikawa, particularly after the submission of Resolution 20 to the Security Council, which will ensure both nations have effective control over the Council of Nations. Furthermore, as a former colony of Franconia, we can understand your fears of Franconian domination and sympathise with your plight. However, before I can confirm my attendance at this proposed summit, I seek clarification on its exact nature, as Vangala intends to host a conference on reform to the Council of Nations in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Esteemed Prime Minister,

May I begin be expressing how pleased I am from your part that there is another nation in Europe ready to make a committment to progressively stamping out the tyranical system that is Oikawa and Franken's CoN. It seems to me that an organisation as a body should not be single-handedly run by those who truly do not believe in democracy, free speech and human rights in general - but by those who act every day upon what their people want. As you know, that is who we work for in the long-run.

With that being stated, I have met with all opposition leaders within Parliament and they agree 100% that I must attend this summit in Yungdrung Gutsak and/or in Vangala as they have also previously stated the possibility of a summit. As for your thoughts on peaceful cooperation in the future, I cannot agree more with you on those sentiments.

Respectfully yours,

Joseph W. Hendrick

Mr. Robert Petursson Viereskog,
Prime Minister of the Oelarian Republic,
Oikawischer Garten, Buxtehude, Eiffelland

Sir,
The Kingdom of Suionia finds the notion of a renewed body fascinating. As has been publicized via the Northern Council, the Kingdom of Suionia has expressed interest in a new body that would incorporate the ideals espoused in the Northern Council to be spread via a new international organization. This has yet to gain traction in the Northern Council itself; however, the Northern Council is not a body which moves with great haste.

Our Kingdom may find interest in any suggested endeavor to this regard but is not in a position in which it would wish to espouse such views publicly. Suionia is not keen on promoting vast reforms with reckless abandon and therefore would like to see a well formulated plan before committing to any project publicly. As a result, the Kingdom of Suionia is open to traveling to meet and discuss this project, but cannot commit openly until a sustainable project and plan can be documented.

Leave our embassy in Eiffelland a note, and Prime Minister Lundqvist will come to such a meeting at her earliest convenience.

Hälsningar,
Henne excellens Malin Enström

It is self-evident that free nations need to start a conversation, at the very least, and join in a league that represents the non-aligned countries. What form would the Non-Aligned Movement take? This course has not yet been determined, but I submit the following short-term options:

1. The NAM as a boycott of the CON and a temporary rival international forum.
2. The NAM as a bloc of states that articulates common goals to the CON via NAM-members who are also member states of the CON.
3. The NAM as a pool of states that elects a third 'permanent' Security Council seat reserved particularly for NAM nations via an independent process.

We might envision a massive group dedicated foremost to the principle of sovereignty: Northern Council nations, Kryobaijan, Zivotinje, Free Union, Carentania, Sinhai, Minh Dao, Gorno-Altai, Wendmark, the Papal States, etc., to protest the Security Council system, Oikawan imperialism in the east, and Franconian hegemony in the west. The world system is becoming increasingly inhospitable to sovereign, non-LFS or EDF alligned states.

So far I have confirmed the participation of Prime Minister Joseph Hendrick (Akwesasne), and Prime Minister Hannah Lundqvist (Suionia), but I would like to fill out a four or five founding nations with leadership potential in their respective regions. I will also soon invite President Marjhan Visariya of Sinhai.

What form the Non-Aligned Movement takes will take shape, I hope, in the coming weeks.
