OPEN STATEMENT

The Imperial Military has been authorised by the passage of the Military Act 1953 by the Parliament of Sikandara to begin the process which will allow the Imperial Military of Sikandara to enhance its defensive capabilities and increase the operational range and capabilities of existing infrastructure present in the country. The Imperial Military has been allocated ​ ∂.550,000,000* for the purpose of enhancing our efforts to protect the territorial integrity. The Imperial Military has decided to divide its acquisition programs in a 20-30-50%, along the Army, Air-Force and the Navy. Companies operating in the arms and defence contractor sector are asked to present their products for consideration. Companies from Ivernia, Mezhist Union, Eiffelland & Franken are encouraged to bypass usual channels and apply for direct consideration with this office. ​

To, Chief Director of Aerospace Department, The Aodh-Mor Corporation. The Imperial Military is greatly impressed by the quality, in design and in technology demonstrated by jet engines in Ivernian aerospace industry. The vast business dealing between our country and your firm has been historically a very good one. The propeller fighters remain a staple of a large segment of our aerial forces and we find ourselves drawn to the promise of continuing our business relationship with your country as the world enters the jet age. The Imperial Military has been informed by the Imperial Government of Sikandara that the Aodh-Mor Corporation has visited Sikandara and inspected several sights in 1952 and 1953 to determine the suitability of licensed production of Ivernian aircraft by Sikandari firms. It is our belief that the selected aeronautical firms in Sikandara; VVT Aeronautics from Azirmeh and Qizilbash Aeronautics from Akbariyeh have been found to be fully capable for the job specified. As such, the Imperial Military formally lodges a request with Aodh-Mor for the purchase of 50 AME-100 Shimmering Eagle jet fighters and 10 AME-Y49 Heavy Jet Bombers with the option of producing local variants on license to meet additional requirements. In addition to this, we look to Aodh-Mor to open a Sikandari subsidiary to cooperate with the indigenous aeronautical sector to design and create a jet fighter according to Sikandari specifications and solely for the Sikandari military. Additionally, the Imperial Military looks to its trusted friends in Ivernia to assist in the modernisation program for propeller aircraft such as the AME-33 Elk Fighter, AME Formorian heavy bomber, which remain in sizeable numbers in our arsenal. ​

To, Director of Economy, Trade, & Industry Mezhist Union The Imperial Military is greatly interested in the infantry weapons being developed by the Mezhist arms industry and is looking forward to receiving updates on various products in the sector. It is our hope that Sikandara can license production of a number of infantry weapons, such as mortars, artillery, machine guns, carbine and assault rifles for example, from our Northern Allies. Given the immense size of the order we would ideally like to place, a licensing agreement is the best path for us to undertake. The Imperial Navy is most impressed with trials of the Serii VI Electric Submarine and looks forward to adopting it as a major part of its naval fleet. We would also look to our Mezhist allies to provide details about how to best proceed to modernise and expand our navy and its arsenal. The Panthera II main battle tank is an interesting piece of equipment but we seek to order 10 to test prior to committing in the long-term with the tank. The demand for a strong, reliable, versatile and flexible tank is the priority for the Imperial Army and all purchases in that department need to be approved only after passing a series of tests, conducted to demonstrate whether the said equipment is relevant to the agenda of the Imperial Army's strategy. We ask the Mezhist Directorate to keep us informed about the latest developments in the field of military design. Additionally, the Imperial Military is looking to the Mezhist Directorate to provide assistance to our own indigenous arms industry to help it expand and improve its quality and standards. ​
