Imperial ~ Anaxandroupolis: In response to calls for an era of Pan-Pelasgian Unity by the Cyrenian Sebastokrator Chrysanthos Fotios Samaras, Sebastokrator Adamantios Ioannou Papandreou, who is also the leader of the Sosialdimokratikó Kómma (SK), Social-Democratic Party, signaled cautious and indirect support for the Cyrenian initiative. Reporters from the Aresoúroi Herald asked for a quick reply to the breaking international news, to which Sebastokrator Papandreou released the following, decisive statement: "It has always been the dream of Anaxandros o Porthitís in uniting the Pelasgian peoples under one ruler, a dream that every Basileus of Aresura since his untimely death has striven to bring to reality, as true successors to His Eternal Majesty should. We have profound disagreements with our wayward Cyrenian brothers to the south, and this surprise announcement does not sweep them aside, nor should it. But, it must be acknowledged that significant disagreements exist with our Carian brothers to the north as well, and we nonetheless maintain good ties with them. Therefore, it is not impossible for an understanding, however tentative, to be reached between our realms as well as with the Carians. However, we tentatively commit to this with two clear positions: the first, that the goal of fulfilling Anaxander's dream of a united Pelasgia will eventually be realized, and the second, that Aresura's generosity in contributing towards this noble goal is not taken advantage of by opportunists and saboteurs from abroad." The Sebastokrator, with the blessing of His Majesty, Basileus Iōséph XV Anaxandros-Konstantinos, subsequently directed the Imperial Foreign Ministry to begin reaching out to diplomats of both @Cyrene and @Caria for the purposes of organizing a Pelasgian Summit.

Imperial ~ Anaxandroupolis: Imperial Foreign Minister Nikolaos Christakis-Zografos, after consultation with Sebastokrator Adamantios Ioannou Papandreou and His Majesty, Basileus Iōséph XV Anaxandros-Konstantinos, has officially accepted the public invitation by First Archon Ioannes Soteriou Notaras of @Caria to attend a Pelasgian Summit in the Holy City of Nikaia, the birthplace of Anaxander the Conqueror. The invitation has also been extended to Sebastokrator Fotios Samaras of the Sublime Cyrenian State.

Imperial ~ Gerasa: A terrorist plot by radical Zionist militiamen to harm Imperial citizens, including the Basileus himself, in the Holy City of Hierosolyma as they attended mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Christmas Day was successfully foiled by Imperial State Security agents. Immediate suspicions that these radical elements were funded, or at least inspired by, officials within @Cyrene have, per an official release from the Office of Imperial State Security, "are unfounded at this present moment."

Imperial ~ Anaxandroupolis: Sebastokrator Adamantios Ioannou Papandreou finalized preparations to depart for the Holy City of Nikaia in the Carian Confederacy, assembling a worthy and prestigious entourage of assistants and aides including Imperial Foreign Minister Nikolaos Christakis-Zografos to meet with delegations led by First Archon Ioannes Soteriou Notaras and Sebastokrator Chrysanthos Fotios Samaras of the Sublime Cyrenian State. This Pan-Pelasgian Summit has simultaneously garnered high hopes and deep concerns of its potential for success and failure respectively. It would be the first time in recent history such a serious attempt was made to revive any sense of true unity between the Diádokhoi of @Caria, Aresura, and @Cyrene, and there are many reasonable doubts the vast disagreements can ever be overcome. In response to these doubts however, His Majesty, Basileus Iōséph XV Anaxandros-Konstantinos, released a short statement noting, "Anaxandros the Conqueror is known for many personal qualities, not least of which is boldness. If we Aresouranoí truly wish to emulate his deeds, we too must be bold in our efforts to make His Dream a reality. Therefore, we must have faith in our delegation that success shall blossom from the seeds we plant in Nikaia, despite the harsh soil that lies before us."

International ~ Urbo de Najwej: The foreign and radical news organ La Gvidlumo de Libera Himyar of the @Himyari People's United Republic made unfounded allegations of Aresuran Imperial State Security launching "a series of raids on Jewish dissidents" throughout the Empire. In response to this insulting display of journalism, Imperial Foreign Minister Nikolaos Christakis-Zografos commented, "The rantings of radical ideologues abroad are of little concern to His Majesty's Imperial Government. They rely on victimhood and a vast conspiracy abroad to mask troubles and problems at home. Those who are more level-headed and clear-sighted know full well of the generous tolerance towards religious and ethnic minorities within the Empire, both for pragmatic and principled reasons." No further comment was given by the Office of the Imperial Foreign Ministry.

Imperial ~ Hierosolyma: Further arrests have taken place throughout the former EF Mandate of the Isphilistines, reformed into the Despotate of Philistia within the Holy Empire of Aresura following a referendum from October overwhelmingly supporting incorporation into the empire, of suspected Zionist terrorist groups planning further attacks within the Despotate. The arrests are a result of extensive interrogation of the terrorists who were foiled and captured in Gerasa, in an attempt to neutralize radical Zionist elements and prevent further attacks. Protests erupted in Hierosolyma following this crackdown on alleged overreach by Imperial State Security, with some calling upon His Majesty, Basileus Autokratōr Iōséph XV Anaxandros-Konstantinos, to personally intervene and rein in the security apparatus. The Office of His Majesty has not yet released a statement, though allegedly His Majesty is "troubled" by recent events surrounding terrorism in the Pelasgian world.

International ~ Myrthios, @Cyrene: The Alodian Liberation Army, a terrorist group operating in Cyrenian Alodia, declared a "people's war" against the Sublime Cyrenian State and claimed responsibility for a car bomb set off in Myrthios and wounding 12 people to varying degrees of severity, along with causing extensive property damage. Two more bombs went off shortly afterwards. Megas Logothétēs Nikolaos Christakis-Zografos issued a condemnation of the attack in Cyrene, stating "Despite our severe disagreements and quarrels with the Sublime Cyrenian State stretching back centuries, terrorism committed by state or non-state actors that is aimed towards harming the innocent is never acceptable, no matter the ideology or goals. We therefore condemn the actions of the ALA, and pray that the Cyrenian authorities in Alodia are able to bring those directly responsible for the attacks to justice." No statement has yet been issued regarding the wave of arrests that followed throughout Alodia with numerous international human rights groups condemning the Cyrenian Imperial Department of Security for indiscriminate crackdowns on Alodian dissidents.

International ~ Nikaia, @Caria: A failed attempt on the life of First Archon Notaras occurred after the Pelasgian Orthodox Feast of Epiphany, as nine attackers including Markos Samaras, son of Blue Party Senator Frangiskos Samaras of Navarone, threw red paint on the First Archon and attempted to shoot him. The First Archon was unharmed in the attempt, and subsequent protests against the Blue Party for an alleged "coup attempt" broke out across Caria. Megas Logothétēs Nikolaos Christakis-Zografos called for calm and measured justice in Caria, stating "Justice must, of course, fall upon those who attempt to take life, but we pray this does not bring down future persecution upon Caria's Catholic minority who, we are certain, are overwhelmingly innocent of any potential conspiracy."
