Under the rules and stipulations of the ODIN act we are obliged to inform you that the Department of Military Intelligence in conjunction with the Continental Navy have discovered that the Danish Imperium has conspired to sell Faroe Island to the Mezhist Union. It is under the orders and within the limited powers of the Executive, President Sander Rygaard, that the Continental Navy, under the Command of Admiral Timothy Piett conduct a quarantine of the island in an attempt to deny use of the island to both the Mezhist Union, the Danish Imperium or any other fascist power that has yet to be revealed as part of this conspiracy.

As per the obligations assumed by the People and Government of the Popular-State of Beautancus in their Popular-Ascension to the ODIN PROTOCOL, the Commonguard of Beautancus' Naval & Aero-Services Advanced-Response Commands have been placed on high alert status, albeit discreetly. The Popular Mandate afforded to the Steward and the Commonguard has, and will continue for the immediately foreseeable future to suffice in pursuit of operational secrecy. Navy-Fleet Strike Service-Group Echelon, under the command of Commodore Jubal Quincy Hollis has been tasked with immediate assumption of ODIN PROTOCOL armed-forces obligations. As is likewise customary and our obligation, Commodore Hollis is prepared and willing to receive immediate instruction on how to further proceed from Admiral Piett.

Department of Military Intelligence has received word via news reports that there may be a Mezhist carrier squadron within the region of the Faroes at this time. It is our objective to eliminate these ships from the zone of operation and liberate the island. Currently our battle fleet which has swelled to a force of over seventy warships, not including support ships is at their designated rendezvous point thirty miles east of the target island . It is our fear that a Mezhist counter attack will follow suit after our attack. If it is the intention of the Commonguard to support the Continental Navy in our quarantine of the island then I will ask that the good Commodore Hollis join his force of ships with Vice Admiral Conrad Dufresne, who currently has operational command of the battle fleet. This will be the first true test of the ODIN Protocol and I am overjoyed that the Popular State of Beautancus is still willing to stand up to an evil such as the Mezhist Union.

Instructions to rendezvous with VADM Dufresne received, and I have every intention of complying to the utmost of my abilities. Commonguard Navy- Fleet Strike Service, Group Echelon well underway and will be prepared to undertake Naval Interdiction Operations/NIOs at maximum engagement umbrella within the next hours. Anti-Submarine Warfare patrols presently underway in proximity to Echelon, prepared to assume wider operational jurisdiction as per VADM Dufresne.

No foe, regardless of ferocity or weight of numbers will long withstand the Righteous Fury of a Free and Justified People. We've been lucky enough to live in free countries for most of our adult lives, or to have at least won that for ourselves all the same. We owe it to ourselves, even before we owe it to our Faroese neighbors to ensure that we can keep doing that, without the vile and cancerous Fascist rot on our damned doorsteps.

No matter the polemics that may be, and likely are being put forward to justify this action - the people of the Faroe Islands will damned well have a chance to decide their own futures before we - before I am done. With Decency, Dignity & Fidelity,
