Why claim multipe spots? Can't you RP with just one?

Cause of the shape. Those two spots look like Great Greece (not Greece but all the lands with Greek populations that Greece lays claim to). I want them cause of my nation's history. Besides it's not like nobody else has done it. And I don't plan on claiming a colony or if I do it'll be super small, (the size of Danzig or something).

Basically I made a ''greconia'' and the next day you claimed all of it and them some. You shouldn't be trying to make a greece shape either.
You say you wont make a colony claim but you weekly claim pixels in this thread. I can hardly hold you to that promise.

Well actually Tyrrhenia also has part of it and Greconia only has 3 slots so it's pretty easy to take. Anyway I guess I might be claiming way to much for one nation. After all you've been in this way longer than me so I guess you know what you're doing.

This is my last claim change and I'm really sorry for changing my claim thrice in a week. I seriously owe you.

Relevant thread: (wiki coming soon)

Here's a map:
I'm not sure if the islands for Falaise, l'Anse d'Olivie, or Roches Blanches are above the size threshold necessary to be on the map. If so, feel free to add them onto my spot. If not, no problem.

Thanks!

Also I have to commend you for making that map in Paint, I sure as hell wouldn't go to paint to make an elaborate map like that (well, maybe in the past).

This is not a discussion thread guys - scrolling through this thread to find proper requests is what makes for mistakes, because half the time people do not use the application system anyways. For three map updates I already cleared out 8-9 pages of chatter.

I'm not trying to be too grumpy, it's only that everyone's map experience will be much better if I make less mistakes. :ghost:

Name(s): Aresuroi Collective & Republic of Aresura
Location: (Approximate division of the island, to be tweaked as the mapmaker sees fit. Western two-thirds is Aresuroi Collective, eastern third is Republic of Aresura. Northern and southern islands are included in the Collective, eastern island is part of the Republic.)
Pertinent Threads/Wiki: (Pathetic, I know. I'm working on it)

EDIT: And remove the divided Aresura from Occidentia if you please.

Uhm I also claimed those two islands east of my nation. Anyway thanks for the update :)

I figured because yours is a secondary nation that those islands should be left for a potential neighbor playing a primary nation.

Location :-
Name of Colony : Bartholomew Islands
Name of Primary Country :Nicosia
Established History : Eh, Ive had similar 'colonies' before but since I took my break I seem to have lost them. Essentially there will be only a population of about 300 and it will be a wildlife sanctuary and environmental research center. Similar in nature to the Galapagos Islands.

Founded by Nicosian explorers in 1720, the islands were claimed but pretty much abandoned until 1780. The Bartholomew Islands boast a population of around 200 permanent residents, and around 60-100 members of academic and scientific communities who reside part time during research. There is only two towns in the whole the Bartholomew Islands- St. Basil (the capital) and Feldburg (Population: 52). St. Basil has a runway and 2 PBY Catalinas for medical transport/search and rescue. Most access however is largely by ship and the population is largely self sustaining but assistance from Nicosia is often given. There are 11 research facilities, most run by universities from around the world. The facilities are subject to inspection and must follow strict environmental laws. Governments or universities must pay for upkeep of facilities as long as they are used.

If I give up the southern himyari island can I get those two islands? One of the at least? Also I'll probably give up on the Eastern Cape should I lose the war with the socialists, though I might still stand a chance.

I do not see all of these things as being related. If you could describe why the two islands would be important to the Ionia RP, or why you would be willing to give up a trading outpost on Himyar for those two islands with coherent reasons then maybe. Eastern Cape and your immediate control of the territory does not play in to this at all though, it is a colony of Valkany, not Ionia.

If no one objects, I would like to have my mapspot restored to its original size. To elaborate:

I noticed that in its developement from the older maps and in its tweaking with Himyar in general and perhaps it adaption to the globe, Carentania suffered in terms of spot-size. In itself, that doesn't bother me (noooo, the pixels!) but it has gotten to the point where I simply can't imagine 70 million people living there anymore. It's too small, even for a country that is supposed to be crowded and densely populated.

In older maps, Carentania used to be bigger than Solaren and had about the same distance from northern to southern borders as Eiffelland. I guess we could tweak a bit with the Jurzan spot, move all of Himyar south a bit and make Carentania about 1,5 to 2 times as large as it is now, without changing the general shape of my spot so I can still use the maps I've drawn for it. This would make population size and country size fit better together again.

This is where I want my Nova Praetoria Naval Base to be. Rename the rest of the Valk. Eastern Cape to "Republic of the Eastern Cape" or "Eastern Cape". Also please change its color. Thanks in advance.

I would like to claim the islands North of my nation in between Sylvania and Austwegian Occidentia as natural part of Sylvanian territory, they will be mostly uninhabited, icy, majority national park area where only the hardy or those who do not want to be found live.
