| To: The Kingdoms of [MENTION=1690]Venissieux[/MENTION] RE: Concerns and offers (Nanterre situation) The Government of Belmont is aware of the situation to our east and we seek guarantees from the various stakeholders that violence shall not erupt in our esteemed neighbor's territory. Any such incident would negatively impact bilateral relations and would be a cause of great concern for our diplomatic and economic dealings. To allow the current situation to persist longer is causing great disconcert in the mercantile community of Belmont, which is linked to some extent to its monetary brothers in the Kingdoms of Venissieux, and we have been asked to convey their sentiments as well, in an official capacity. However, as a friend of the people of Venissieux, we offer ourselves as a neutral party in any negotiations that may be required, if such an occasion were to arise, to arrive at a point where the stability of the region is not compromised. But, keeping in mind the current status of the situation, this Government reposes its trust in the ability of the superior courts of the royal federation to our east.
