Dictator
Shigö, Touzen
The Anti-State of Touzen
Dear Dictator Hayabusa,
I am writing to you today in continuation of a partnership between the Anti-State and the Republic that has existed long before my presidency and is my hope that the relationship continues far past my presidency. The culture of the Touzenese has long found fascination amongst the Aurarians and that cultural fondness has evolved into a multitude of trade agreements and exchanges that have further bonded our peoples.
It is with that history in mind that this letter was crafted. While I cannot control the thoughts and feelings of my peoples, I can direct the foreign policy of my government. As the Head of State of the Aurarine Republic and the Commander-in-Chief of the Republic’s Armed Forces, I am stating that Post-Delegationism as an ideology is not an enemy nor a threat to this country. The ideology has a long history in Auraria and the contributions of its thinkers have undoubtedly contributed to the creation of one of Europe’s most liberated, progressive society.
However, I cannot understate the concern that I have to the security of the Republic and the nations of the Long Sea at large with the Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa’s stance that its ideology is threatened. That Commonwealth’s open admittance to engaging in routine military deployments across the globe – but in particular the Long Sea – in order to gather military intelligence on states it deems enemies, concerns me.
The Aurarine Republic will not compromise in defending the right of nations to travel freely and unmolested in the Long Sea. The Aurarine Republic will not compromise in its commitment, nay responsibility, to defend itself from all threats – both foreign and domestic. The current actions of Pohjanmaa stand as a threat to that commitment and responsibility.
As an ally, I am requesting that the Anti-State reach out to convince the Pohjanmaans to reconsider their military activity in the Long Sea and join the international community at large in preserving peace, instead of provoking conflict.
I look forward to your reply.
All the best,
