OOC: If I remember correctly, you said that you had Greeks coming from their mainland to Valkany. And I responded with the Saraar account, that you can say that they came from Tyrrhenia. There is no other Greek nation on the forum, not only that you said that you are okay with them coming from Tyrrhenia (I don't remember on which thread, but you did), but i don't believe that Greeks came from the Moon and landed in Valkany.

You seem to have a problem understanding that nations lie, or are incorrect. A nation is an IC construct living in the IC world. It can lie, or be incorrect. Other nations might even believe the lie, or be incorrect.

So what is the distinction between lies and godmode?

Godmode is when in a Character IC post you say that your 5000000000 army with robots invaded Portusgalia and conquered everything, killed everyone without losing a single soldier. And also when you're making claims for the others. Like also saying that no portusgalian bullet hit my soldiers.
Lying is simply saying in my news that in the battle I sustained few losses, even if in the Character thread I RP a Pyrrhic victory.

I never said that I'm okay with it. The Greeks came from Ionia. I created a Greek state just for that as part of my RP.

Having this many pictures is just unnecessary and detracts from the words, which are the original creative parts of our shared story.

I might be in the minority on this, but I actually really disagree with this. Not the culture appropriate images though I think either more general or more appropriate ones should be used. But the idea of images in general should be encouraged in my opinion it actually gives us a slightly better visual representation of society in whatever country is posting. I actually enjoy looking at some pictures. And it certainly doesn't makes the words any less relevant, at least in my opinion.

I see your point, and I'm not advocating removing all images, I just think in this case that having this many with the size they are is excessive. Perhaps if they were smaller it'd be less of an issue, I dunno. More stylized in to the newspost like the Free Cities League news where he'll have two pictures that fit perfectly in the post. Sylvania often now has one or two photos, and they also fit snug in the story.

Since we're talking about images, does anyone here have a problem with me submitting large images as my news article? I find it easier to visualize and create news articles in Illustrator than just typing it all out, not to mention my dislike of using tables for newspost as I find them inadequate.

The images will always be of that fixed size, I can't be bothered to reduce or increase the image length. And even if people didn't have a problem with the image, is it legible enough for you guys?

What you are doing is alright, I am more worried about the quantity of pictures per post. Also make sure not to use copyrighted photos in your illustrator made news things as I will have to delete them if you do.

That's fine, I don't really intend to use photos in my news post. I normally only do it when I need to fill up the news post or something of significance.

I didn't know copyright infringement was a problem but I'll keep that in mind.
