SUBJECT: A formal invitation for discussions in SHAHDARA

The Imperial Government is pleased to note the tradition of warm and congenial relations between the High Kingdom and the Imperial State and in the interests of maintaining that legacy extends to its counterpart an invitation of formal talks to focus on bilateral concerns and mutual strategic interests. We would like to bring the attention of the Ivernian Government our special interest in discussing defence issues.

To the attention of: The Imperial Government of Sikandara, Council of Diplomatic Affairs

This invitation has been received and accepted by the High Kingdom of Ivernia. The formal talks you have suggested shall of course be attended by representatives of the Ivernish Senate in Shadara. Any talk or discussion on defence issues shall be received by Ivernia with an open ear and mind. In light of which, representatives from our department of defence shall also attend the meeting.

The Empire need only choose a time and location and Ivernia shall be at the table.

SUBJECT: Items on the agenda for diplomatic meetings in SHAHDARA;

Defence	The Imperial State seeks assistance in modernising its armed forces and looks to Ivernian firms to provide details as to what level of involvement in the project can they commit to. The Imperial State and its military industries are very much interested in the jet engine and look to Ivernia to provide the skills to allow for domestic production of licensed Ivernian jets. The Imperial Military seeks to build a direct relationship with its Ivernian counterpart to develop an understanding of the latest military philosophy emerging in the Occident.
Economic	The Imperial State is interested in signing agreements which might allow the establishment of Sikandari firms in Ivernia and vice versa. Reduced tariffs and trade restrictions are also an area of interest for us.
Diplomatic	Considering the remarkable and most respected nature of Ivernian diplomacy, the Imperial State would like to enquire whether Ivernian diplomatic missions can be used to conduct official business of Sikandara with states not formally recognised by the Imperial State.

To the attention of: The Imperial Government of Sikandara, Council of Diplomatic Affairs
Regarding: Diplomatic meeting between the Empire of Sikandara and the High Kingdom of Ivernia

The Department of Foreign affairs agrees with the agenda suggested by the Sikandara Council of Diplomatic Affairs.

Ivernia list of representatives:

Defence	The High Kingdom of Ivernia is able to send a vetting team to the Empire of Sikandara immediately to inspect the current status of the Empire's military industry capability and how Ivernish investment/patronage might improve it. Representatives from the Aodh-Mór Corporation shall be sent to analise the possibility of developing and manufacturing AMC products in Sikadara and the possibility of a AMC branch. Regarding the Occident Ivernia is willing to house a military advisor within the Ivernian Embassy in Sikandara who would then be always available for the Empire to contact Ivernia and relay the military developments with the Ivernish region, and the Occident.
Defence Representatives	Elector Prince of Defence Evan MacGrath. Diplomats: Andrew Collins, Niall Murtagh & Felix Mollins. Representative of Aodh-Mór Corporation: Francis O'Higgins
Economic	The High Kingdom would be pleased to have an exchange of firms across Ivernia and Sikandara. A reduction of trade and tariffs can be negotiated provided other deals go through e.g. As business opens up between the High Kingdom and the Empire the option to lower taxes and tariffs becomes more feasable. The High Kingdom is willing to make a reduction prematurely if the representatives see that demand is high for cross-national trade.

Diplomatic	Considering this is a request towards peace, and a forward attitude against nations whom the Empire would otherwise have no means of dialogue, the High Kingdom will be of course willing to fufill this request. Diplomatic Representatives will be sent to merely work the plan into motion.

SUBJECT: Items on the agenda for diplomatic meetings in SHAHDARA; Further clarifications

1. The Imperial Government would like to emphasise the importance of a hasty commencement of inspections by Ivernian companies of the Empire's military industries. The Imperial Government is additionally seeking to utilise Ivernian and Occidental technology to improve its own military industry and is willing to subsidise the costs associated with such a goal. It is hoped that Ivernia will be able to provide technical know-how, the necessary equipment and we hope that Ivernian involvement will markedly improve our own domestic engineering universities.

2. Given any economic deal requires extensive debate in the Imperial Legislative Assembly, the official position of the Government is to further review the conditions of such an agreement to ensure that the terms are mutually feasible and profitable.

3. The Council for Diplomatic Affairs would like to establish a liason office in Alderburgh to better direct Ivernian diplomats in the following countries:
• People's Republic of Vangala
• Agder & Fey (Agderike)
• People's Republic of Havenshire

To the attention of: The Imperial Government of Sikandara, Council of Diplomatic Affairs

In regards to your three requests;

1. The Aodh-Mór Corporation, working on behalf of the Senate of Ivernia, shall send a team of engineers; both mechanical and aeronautical to oversee and inspect the industrial sector of Sikandara, specifically the military complex. Upon inspection the Aodh-Mór Corporation will complete a full report for the Senate with regards to how much improvement is needed, if necessary. In order to create a complex to match Ivernish products engineering patents will be leased as they are needed.

2. Such a deal would need scrutinous attention and this Department of Finance and Commerce is willing to work with the Sikandaran equivalent in order to work out a fair and balanced deal that is mutually beneficial.

3. The request for a liason office in Alderburgh has been granted. The liason office will be an extension to the current embassy to Sikandara in Alderburgh. Extra diplomats can be sent if you so desire.
