The two planes had arrived just when the sun was setting, the two planes had landed in a air force base it. They were the only commercial planes on the base, they had parked next 4 military cargo planes. The foreign minsters opened their plane's doors to be greeted by Sir Thomas Picton and a small army of armed men in suits who created a circle around the planes.

Foreign Minister, Clint Kingsley, Who had held the post of FA for almost 20 years non-consecutively, stepped off of the plane followed by the Chief Intelligence Officer, Anthony Loera and their Security Detail they made there way over to Sir Thomas Picton greeting him and the Justinian Envoy

"Good Evening my name is Sir Thomas Picton the Minister of Security & Defence please to meet you, the P.M couldn't meet you here since he still engaged in a debate at the assembly but it finishes at 6. Excused the heavy armed presents, we had some trouble with a unionist group the last month but I assure you are safe" Picton said to them.
He was wearing army officer dress uniform, it was a bright red jacket with golden buttons. The helmet was a black cap with a white and green feather on it's side.
"It will only take 20 minutes to get to the P.M house" Picton said them when pointing to their cars

"Ah, I see, we're currently dealing with some insurgent groups ourselves you see, Those Darn Commies, hate 'em" Said Clint "But I suppose there's nothing you can do, democracy eh" he added before walking towards the car. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind to unknown foreign diplomats because all the wars he had dealth with he didn't care what they thought anymore.

Picton went into the seconded car in the convoy, the army of suits followed behind went into the two vans in the convoy one at the front and the back. The Convoy was lead out the air base by military police.
The convoy finally arrived at P.M house, the P.M house was a 100 year old hotel used by the creme de la creme of society before being taking over by separatist 40 years ago or so. Now a days it's used as the ruling party's HQ and the penthouse as the P.M home living space. Picton opened his widow and give the sentry at the gates a deadly glare, the sentry saluted Picton and quickly opened the gates before Picton whack him on top of his head with the handle of his ceremonial sword which he was prone to do with the sentries when he was drunk .
The Convoy parked outside the P.M house, the foreign minsters were about to about to go inside but Picton stop Margheri.
"You think we didn't hear about the silly duel you try to have, you and your secretary will be search for the P.M and Kingsley safety before you can enter this building" Picton said. Picton turned to the Kingsley and said
"Sorry about this Kingsley,the silly woman tried to have a duel with the Kadiskistan"

"Oh trust me I've heard about it. I had to make an official letter about it apologising for supporting people who act in that manner." said Kingsley "Plus with some of the things I say around the negotiating table she might try to fight me." He added on before laughing trying to lighten up the mood a bit.

"Stupid cow doesn't know her way around here, this is why women can't serve in the frontline or be leaders they are prone to emotional outburst like this one and the stupid duel she tried to have". Picton thought to himself.
"Ma'am, the convoy won't move unless I say so, the air base is middle of a forest on the outskirts of the city and finally you don't own any of our currency to get transport." Picton shouted try to get Margheri back.

Clint and Anthony sat in the waiting room admiring its beauty and waiting for the meeting to begin staring at his watch Clint said "Well, you fly 4 hours to have to sit in a room waiting for about another two what's the point in that"

Picton entered the room, he had changed from uniform to suit and tie.
"Sorry about that, it's seems that minister was on her time of her mouth laterally, drink gentlemen?" Picton said, a waiter brought in a trolley full of alcohol.

"Thank you Sir Picton, you know what I've had enough of those Justinians we're sticking our neck out on the line and they repay us by making us look like a fool to the international community" Said Kingsley "Also, meet Loera our Chief Agent or whatever he's been in to Kadikstan before said it was cold and that the Vodka tasted like well nothing". The pair shake hands. "And you know what I'm going to recommend that the PM stop working with such an un-experienced Government. He picks up a glass of vodka and gulps it down "Right, lets get this meeting under way with or without the Justinian Delegation.

"Well it's not just inexperience, the Assembly is 30 years old, it's their obsession with their outdated traditions . Anyway the P.M just being briefed by the Home secretary on a another matter at the moment he won't -" Picton was going to finish his sentence until the home secretary walked through the waiting room.The home secretary won't look at him in the eye and give him the cold shoulder.

Picton walked the two men to the Office,the P.M was in his late 50s but his mind still thought he was the 20 year old revolutionary. His hair colour was salt and pepper, he brushed over his hair to hide his bald patch. Behind his desk was a painting of the original 20 AMs who signed the Foundation of the Assembly one being himself.
He got up from his desk, he introduced himself to the two gentlemen and shaked their hands

"She seemed to get offended when I request she be search" Picton answered

"I thought you worked in the secret services, don't bloody talked about plans with the bloody door still open!" Picton said to Kingsley annoyed, he went to the P.M record player and put on some classier music
"Sorry about this Picton is very good and professional at his work but I believe his 15 years in the military made him paranoid and easy to set off" Evans said hoping that Picton didn't driven off a another minister. He offered Kingsley another drink

Picton drinks another glass and spoke "Well if the P.M let me speak openly- the P.M noded to him-, we wish to set up listening posts in your country in strategic positions to intercept Naval Communication in the Mirovic Ocean, we own the land around the listening posts and only our personal can use it. For that we will send our counter terrorism officers to train with your security forces and we share counter terrorism intelligence"

"Ah I see I think that is a very good idea we can arrange something all land belongs to you and your security forces will be allowed to enter our country to protect the land, Of course we wish for any intelligence which will be of use to us to be shared obviously and all power needs etc. will be provided for by the Department of Defence and Department of Home Affairs. However any expenses which are not crucial for the mission will not be covered"

"Sorry I am late P.M I was-" The foreign minister walked through the door in the middle of the meeting. Picton pushed him out the office and said some profanity in his native tongue towards the foreign minister before shutting the door on his face.Picton then returned to the P.M's desk, the P.M had his hands over his head in embarrassment but Picton spoke anyway .
"Sorry about that, yes that's part of our terms but we would like something from you in return, we have to openly admit we don't have a strong air force at the moment. Since the separatist rebellion we spent most of our military resources on infantry and the upkeep of our U-boats. We request to have two of your fighters jets and it's crew to be based here to patrol our airspace, they will be paid a regular salary and housed like any member of our armed forces."

so there may be a period of a few hours when you only have one plane because we will fetch an Athen II over so you have a Fighter Jet and a Bomber. Also we may if given permission use your nation for training drills so the pilots are used to the environment, I hope that will be okay with you" Said Kingsley sipping vodka and contemplating how he would announce his departure from the office of Foreign Affairs Minister when he returned home.
