The Asylan ambassadors and business men arrived at the Palace of the Republic in the capital of Saraar, Garissa. They all got out of the black escort vehicles they had taken and were met by a small number of policemen who escorted the group up to the Palace. It was an opulent establishment, compared to the relative poverty of the city around them. They all knew what an immense cash cow this country could be, and after the failure of Augustaborg, foreign policy in Himyar needed to be recovered and the best way for this was through economic and not military means.

They were escorted to the interior of the Palace to a large meeting room, there waiting for them were the representatives from the Saraar government. They all took their seats in turn and pulled out the various documents they would be referencing during the negotiations.

Ambassador Lajunen opened up his folder with his diplomatic documents and began the meeting, "Hello my friends, we are glad to be with you here today in what we hope can become a new and very beneficial relationship between Asylan and Saraar."

He continued after observing the rest of the room for the moment,"There is a plethora of untapped resources, that for some reason seems to have been left untouched for large amounts of time. We also understand that as a result of your recent revolution and elections things may be in some sort of disarray, and that exploitation of these resources would be difficult at best to do in the current situation. My compatriots here, representing a variety of large businesses, and I myself representing any state interests on behalf of Asylan. As a whole, the representatives before you represent various business interests that wish to invest good money into Sanaar based industry. Each investor, which is willing to pump millions of dollars into the coffers of companies, also dependent on their value, wishes to acquire a forty nine percent stake in the businesses the choose. This way Saraar business can remain in Saraar hands. However they will all require contracts regarding the level of involvement they must have in order to make sure each company is successful. No we are also aware some sectors do not have a major provider as of yet, and we of course would wish to consult with the state of Saraar on how to best establish infrastructure in these areas. The same idea would apply, forty nine percent with contract."

The Asylans with Lajunen were shifting a bit in their seats. No doubt they were not thrilled with the prospect of buying less than half of a company, but the Asylan government wasn't interested in owning property in another country in such a large amount. They would no doubt do what they pleased after the first round, but they had to build a repertoire first and foremost, and in order to to that they must not seem as though they were blatantly trying to take advantage of their new friends.

"Now, we would like a list of industries and infrastructure that you feel needs the most attention in Saraar, so we can get this meeting underway."
