IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT OF SIKANDARA
COUNCIL FOR DIPLOMACY

PRIVATE LETTER

The Imperial Government is viewing the situation in the Collectivist Union with great alarm. The implications it has for the security and stability of our great friend, the Kingdom of Eiffelland is gravely concerning for us in Shahdara.

As such, we request the Eifellander Government to make us aware of their strategic plans, on the basis that they be aware that Sikandara is willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with its ally in an effort to strengthen the geo-political and strategic positioning of the Kingdom.

Also we are alarmed with the situation in the Collectivist Union. However, at this moment, too much is unclear. Last year we fought in the Wendzieman Civil War on the side of Komorovski, but now it is extremely vague what is going on. Did Komorovski become crazy, was there a coup, if yes, did that coup succeed? The only thing we currently know, is that it is a bad idea to march in at this moment. We don't know whom to support, and maybe we will be seen as occupiers. We will either have to stay in the CU for a very long time, or have to retreat within months with the tail between the legs.
At this moment, we are investigating the situation as far as possible. The skies in Northern Eiffelland are controlled permanently, both with radar, and with helicopters, and with fighter and espionage planes. Should a large military force walk from the CU into our direction, we will notice. Northern Eiffelland is mountaineous, even with threethousanders complete with eternal snow. That is easy to defend. However, to be prepared, we are sending additional troops to the border. These troops are conscripts, so they cannot be used in an offensive war (apart from the fact that we don't want to use them for that).
There is another problem. We expect a stream of refugees within days. We are setting up refugee camps. Depending on the number of refugees, we might have to ask for humanitary aid, given the fact that we spent a lot of money for humanitary aid for Cyclopeia.

Best regards,

Rudolph Kögler, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Vice-Chancellor

IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT OF SIKANDARA
COUNCIL FOR DIPLOMACY

PRIVATE LETTER

The Imperial Government is appreciative of the Kingdom's response but wants to make clear that, on any occasion, where the Trier Government decides on a stronger level of involevement, the Sikandari military and government is fully prepared to send troops, financial assistance, and other aid to restore a order in the region in a manner more favourable to the stability of our ally.
