''Let's see if you three are good in something else other than talking'' she said, before reaching the chair ''Danilov Teunski, I challenge you in first blood duel as you offended my honor, by the law of Justiza you have the right to choose the type of hand weapon that will be used, the first to hit will win the duel. Do you accept the challenge or do you not as the coward you are?'' she was nervous but was really good in hiding it.

As soon as the word 'duel' had fallen two of the six guards in the room, those sworn to Danilov, aimed there AK-47's at Marghêri while the other four looked around nervously and confused. Danilov was quick to sign them to lower their weapons with a small hand gesture while his eyes remained focused on the Justinian diplomat. But before he could answer Dimitri took the word.

"What is this? How dare you call this war hero a coward? We demand our Burgundian hosts bring you to order. We have no interest in your aristocratic..."

Before Dimitri could finish Danilov stood up and calmly said "I accept your challenge.". He turned towards one of his two guards and grabbed his holstered handgun. Dimitri looked at Danilov clearly annoyed by his acceptance and lashed out.

"Admiral Danilov! You will sit down and stop this foolishness." He turned towards Marghêri. "You will give us Justiza's official answer towards our proposal. That is why we are here, the answer will determine the faith of your country. This duelling nonsense is ridiculous, but if you want to lose your life so badly than do it after you did your job."

Although Danilov is technically higher in rank than Dimitri he obeyed since it were orders coming from a Leninov. Burukova looked intrigued but nodded in agreement.

"The sooner you answer our proposal the sooner you can start shooting eachother.", Burukova added.

"The challenger chooses place and time, the challenged the weapon, I say here and now or at the justinian embassy if the Duke doesn't agree, decide now" she said, and than turned to Dimitri "this meeting is unbalanced, and I won't sell my country to you! At least now you will understand what you're fighting against, Justiza won't fall so easily under your influence!"

OOC:apparently hand weapon is also a pistol, I can't find a translation for the italian "arma bianca" meaning things like swords or knifes and stuff like that

"Then this conference is a failiure. We have no more business here." Dimitri said calmly.

"Grand Duke, we wish to thank you once again for graciously hosting this meeting, but we regret to inform you that it was to no avail. As for this duel, I have never heard anything more ridiculous coming from a so-called 'diplomat'. I'm sure this barbaric tradition is still very present in backwards nations such as Justiza, but we are in the civilized world now. I forbid it. Should you attack us in any way we will order our guards to return the hostilities.

You have sealed the faith of your country. Generations will curse your name. Silly woman." Those were the last words Dimitri uttered. He left the room immediately closely followed by his entourage. Danilov was the last of the three to leave the room. Standing in the door frame he turned his head back towards Marghêri and said: "Don't worry, we will meet again..."

"I hope I'll never see you again, animal" that said she waited him to leave the room and than looked at the Duke "my apologies for this mess, but at this point you know better than me that this wasn't a diplomatic meeting, just a show of power, in other circumstances I wouldn't have reacted like that, I hope my decision won't have consequences over our peaceful relations. Ask me and I will resign from my position as foreing affairs minister" she seemed calm but her hands were visibly shaking.

Before the Kadikistani delegation could leave the Grand Duke rose calmly, his nostrils flaring with anger. "Both delegations have made utter fools of yourselves. A duel is utterly ridiculous. Furthermore, I should have you all arrested" he said, pointing at the offenders "You dare to insult me, my nation, and diplomatic courtesy for producing weapons in my presence? I should have your security men arrested" he said calmly. "And you" he said, his finger trembling as he pointed, "A duel? I don't know what century you believe this is, but you have embarrassed yourself and your nation. Both delegations will be escorted to the airbase. Should any weapons appear from either delegation, arrests will be made". He had to restrain himself from telling them to 'get the hell out'.
