I think you mean this one, Tai? If you mean the one that looks like Korea, it's actually occupied and host to Seora, our Korea equivalent, which is currently a NPC. There's an independent northern Seoran state actually, that has declared independence from Yujin ('China'), and a southern part that belongs to Touzen. Under our Proposition 10 rules, we allow people to pick these nations up, provided they keep the general ideas going. Perhaps you'd be interested in that? Otherwise it's great that you want to be in Touyou (Asia) in any case, the region is having a revival of sorts right now.

If I remember correctly the Koreans that declared the nation independent were an alliance of communists and nationalists - and the declaration of independence was not that long ago, I think half a year ago or so. So if you want you could well RP the country moving towards that sort of government! Just keep in mind that the general area is sort of a mess right now, with different rebel groups fighting it across Yujin, Seora etc.

From my understanding both Yujin and Seora (Korea) are in turmoils of their own. I would loveeeee to have another player in our region (Touyou).

I was intending to claim the land (and probably the islands) southeast of Yujin, but I am more than willing to compromise and work something out if Taipan decides he wants to be located around there.

No, it was a mistake, as there is no problem in both of your applications, with Taipan taking North Seora and you taking the south, it won't be anything wrong.
