The Friulian Government is willing to give ODS a second chance if Friulian officials and ODS representatives will finally be allowed to meet and discuss in person and seriously about the steps that need to be taken from our side and how to solve our mutual concerns.

If, on the other hand, the response from this positive opening will be again an ODS discussing behind closed doors as in the past, Furlanìe will stop any further future attempt to integrate with the block.

Secretary-General of the Organisation of Democratic States

Esteemed Ambassador,

While your message is quite short and to the point, I must state that the diplomatic row that took place before wasn't really that one sided, but was coming from the hot hotheadedness of both parties. Besides the Commission led by Margaret Stone in the ETC to end the economic row between Eiffelland and Furlanie, this is the second step to thaw the relationships between Furlanie and the ODS and we hope we can put that crisis to the past.

As for the current situation, the situation is quite more complicated than it seems at first. The Kadikistani Union has a foreign policy which does not forget, nor forgive, and a betrayal of a Status Quo Treaty, is something that is unheard of as of yet and considering how much the Kadikistani foreign policy framework is based on them, it will put Grau on the black list of Ivar forever. That is why Gallian nations and the ODS have been inflamed by the signing of the Grau Understanding, as it cemented Kadikistani position in Gallia by having the Grand Duchy, one of the most respectable nations of the subcontinent, recognise the current status quo in Bourgogne and giving Kadikistan the opening to enforce the status quo it favours.

Hence, for the sake of Furlanie and its current government and political system and for the sake of the ODS and cementing peace in Gallo-Germania, we sadly cannot talk of further integration of Furlanie into the ODS, as that will inflame spirits in Ivar and bring on a violation of the Grau Understanding. We would thoroughly love to lend a hand and help Grau build a framework of peace over Gallia and Germania too, but that has to be from the position of an observer member, or we can create a special position as an associate member, a unique position that will be specially created in such a way to create cordial relations between the ODS and Grau, while also not putting the Grand Duchy in danger by threading closely to violate the Grau Understanding.

To further discuss the rapprochement and the mutual importance of keeping, preserving and forwarding the peace, both in Gallia and the wider world, the ODS will accept the Furlan invitation to a meeting and with this we hope to put behind all ill thoughts from the past.

United, despite the Distance.

Her Excellency the Secretary-General
Demetria Unathi Vavi

I am very pleased that dialogue is finally back on the table, worrying about consequences and the keeping of peace is a good moral rule to follow, but our proposition to open a dialogue shouldn't rise any alarm, as Friulian authorities are keeping our partners and friends in Ivar informed about this process.

Furlanìe remains committed in keeping peace between the Eastern giant and Gallo-Germania, and no decision will be made without a proper negotiation with both sides. the past storm happened because ODS refused to have such talks, and relegated us to accept or leave, a stance we simply cannot tolerate.

I hope this time, under the enlightened leadership of Secretary-General Demetria Unathi Vavi, ODS will not underestimate the Friulian diplomatic corps.

The message will be passed on to the Government, that will soon contact the ODS again with the details for the meeting location and timing.

best regards,

Ambassador
