Subject: Situation of the international community

The Tianlong Republic has always been in favor of promoting peace, freedom of navigation and international law, when these words still meant something to the international community. Unfortunately, this was somewhat true in a world before the Frescania incident for which we are given sole blame and repercussions.

We remain firm in our decisions and claim the intervention in Frescania as necessary to restore the sovereign state of Frescania which had been violated by a Rogue state. Sovereign state which today is once again continuously violated by nations that try to restore it by sending there soldiers disguised as rescuers or in some cases exclusively armed forces.

We reject the accusations of being the authors of this situation, when it is clear how the environmental crisis resulting from the brief clash could have been resolved in a few weeks, while to this day it is still used as a pretext to prolong the vile occupation of the island.

If we were to act as our detractors accuse us of doing, today, we will militarily occupy 1/10 of Hansa following a single act of barbaric piracy. We will militarily occupy the island of the European Forum with the excuse of safeguarding it from enemy forces by doing exactly what the hostile forces accused by us are doing to restore the sovereignty of Frescania, nothing.​

We have seen through the mists of the nations' lies and we are not interested in returning to the new or old European Forum. Nonetheless, we remind you that if you are looking for a neutral nation, be wary of Vrijpoort. Some may have forgotten, but we do not forget imperialism. After Tarusa, the nation that saw the greatest increase in territory under its control in Gallo-Germany during the Pannonian crisis through the use of armed forces was the city state of Vrijpoort. The only treaty on point is the Wien Convention on the Status of the Propontine Straits, which guarantees to Pelasgia the right to close the Straits to foreign shipping, civilian or military, of any kind, where its security or that of the Straits might be threatened. It has long been our position, as you well know, that the Propontine Straits are under Pelasgian administration and jurisdiction, regardless of whether they constitute territorial waters or not, a position supported by nearly two thousand years of history. Certainly, the Convention would only affirm this position.
