Prince Frantisek glowered at the map and the projection and slowly shook his head. A thorough mess. The monarch's near non-existent duties did at least include weekly briefings from the Prime Minister and, at his discretion, from the Ministry of Defense. The recent actions of Tarusa and the "democratic world" were disheartening. With the Prime Minister gone, the prince was now able to speak a little more freely to the Defense Minister and his friend- Pan (Zahoran word for a baron) General Holpko. "If this does escalate?" the prince asked, his dark eyes scanning the briefing papers. A deep breath from Holpko preceded any commentary. "Well, Tarusa would almost certainly face a united, disjointed but united, coalition against her. I am not sure Tarusa could outlast a coalition of such a nature. Then again, the losses for both sides would be quite high. It seems it would be more of a battle of wills" the General said, frowning. Frantisek close"d his eyes and tilted his head back. On one hand, the people of Zahorie were staunchly democratic. On the other, trade with Tarusa immensely helped the little nation. And between those two points was the fact that ultimately- Zahorie was a Slavic nation. Puffing his cheeks, the Prince stood and strode to the window.

"We must rally our people to our cause" the Prince said coolly as he gazed over the landscape. An eyebrow quickly rose on Holpko's face. As if sensing it, the Frantisek turned his head slightly. "Do not worry. We aren't going to war. The cause is, obviously, to make thing advantageous for us as possible. They will lose their minds. We will reap the benefits" he said, striding back to the table. "Pan, I expect you to keep this between us. We must play all sides of this. But first, we must play our own side. Make the Prime Minister see she must not speak out and to think of the future for the Zahorans if we take a side".
